What is your least favorite Muppet Movie?

I agree about how even though they tried harder with MCC, MFS turned out better. MFS even with Kermit and Piggy basically phased out had a true muppety feeling. MCC though a great film didn't feel like a muppet movie, the background muppets felt like they were depressed, basically the whole...

Hmm, but if he is then a Disney colleuge is just pleaing Disney.

    E-mail for Muppet Show DVD seasons 4 & 5

Yes even Walter who's Disney property wants it to happen, but now that I watch that plee video is Peter Linz performing Walter? Also maybe they were going to release it in 2010, but then came the 2011 film then MMW in 2012 then more MMW in 2013, and now it's 2014, so maybe they'll release it in...

In Defense of the TV Films

As others said Nelson while not puppeteering still gave the voices for Robin, Pops, The Announcer, and Statler. He is also still credited for being a muppet performer. Steve Whitmire performed Statler for puppetry, Dave Goelz did Pops, and I don't know who did Robin.

In Defense of the TV Films

I think VMX was a great movie. It showcased the classic days of TMS, and Steve Whitmire really became Kermit in this one. Many muppets made their comebacks as well like Scooter, Janice, Rowlf, ect. It was also the last and in my opinion best Robin role performed by Jerry Nelson. The plot was...

    MFS widescreen DVD trade

I got the "Muppets From Space" 2005 DVD at Target a while back for its typical $5 price. Though it was with a gift card I won, so it was basically a free dvd. I would've also gotten the MTM dvd, but it was out of stock or something at the time, and I still don't have it yet. I don't see why the...

    E-mail for Muppet Show DVD seasons 4 & 5

I e-mailed Disney about a week ago and this is their response. Not word by word, but a summary of what they said. Thank you for your interest for TMS S4 & 5, we don't have it on the horizon yet, but we will see what we can do. Basically Disney doesn't care. I don't get this! It's been a decade...

    Potential New Muppet Show

I think the MT episodes that succeded with its own format, and not TMS-like were Epsiode 208: The Cameo Show Episode 210: The Gary Cahuenge Show Episode 211: Andie MacDowell Episode 212: Johnny Fiama Leaves Home Not to say the rest of the show sucked, I liked the rest of season 2 and season 2 a...

MMW 'We're Doing a Sequel' Preview

Awesome it'a like a homage to "Hey A Movie". Also I spotted Uncle Deadly on the cement thing with all the other muppets, and seriously Wayne and Wanda are like in every trailer. Also, were those two pigs Andy and Randy? They didn't sound like them. I like how it's so Kermit-centric, and Gonzo's...

MCC: What would you have changed?

I would have made it MUCH more muppety with more muppet screen time than human and I'd make ithad be basically like MTI.

"The Muppets" has an official rating

"G" is "PG" as Drtooth said. I'm glad The Muppets is rated "PG", so 12 year olds and skeptical kids will watch it. Also this film obviously didn't deserve a "PG" rating like basically everything out there, you just add one swear word like they did in The Lorax and The MPAA needs to give it a...

Has Frank Oz's opinion on the new movie changed?

By safe, I think he means a little on the kiddy side of things. The Muppets (2011) was trying to do two things Trying to resurrect the muppets (obviously) Trying to relate to a new generation With this we got to knoiw that the 70's and 80's had edgier family entertainment than now, and TM'11...

    Frank Oz in EIG

Bobo originated on MT and he's still being used, he was the 2011 film and LGATMHS. Big Mean Carl is still popular in the background, and Captain Pighead and Carter will be at the wedding in MMW. Also Johnny, Sal, Andy, and Randy have appeared as recently as 2010.

    Frank Oz in EIG

I can tell (100% sure) that Animal is not being performed by Frank Oz, but for some reason when I first watched Piggy on the Andie MacDowell episode I didn't hear Kevin Clash doing here, but it was loud in the room when I watched it.
  15. Muppet Master

    Frank Oz in EIG

So the question is why did Frank Oz perform those random one note characters in MT, but not Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Animal, and Sam the Eagle?

    Potential New Muppet Show

I'd love to see a new muppet show pop up on primetime maybe on ABC, but the truth is it wouldn't work. Sure The Muppet Show had a good run, but it took over a decade just so it could air, but it was worth it. It aired 120 glorious episodes with 24 episodes a season, BUT, after that things just...

If JIM HENSON was alive TODAY

Well by younger I mean about 15. I'm not sure why, but younger muppet fans basically like The Muppets (2011), and that's why they're muppet fans. I seriously think TM'11 was so over rated. I'll admit it was a good film, but it copied the plot of IAVMMCM, and people didn't think IAVMMCM was great...

Ice Age: Blue Sky's Answer to Shrek?

A few months ago Blue Sky announced they're making a FIFTH Ice Age film slated for 2015! Honestly I loved the original one, I thought the meltdown was okay, and despite the negative criticism I thought Ice Age 3 was a good film, but #4 was basically the meltdown with Jay Lo, and by Ice Age 4...

New Muppet movie in development for potential 2013 release

Wait, never mind, it wasn't 1989, but I don't think it was as early as '85. In Jim Henson: The Biography it said Jim began talking about it when MFC was made in 1987.
