I'm not able to view the video on the computer I'm using at the moment, but moving eyes have been discussed on the board a lot. Try doing a search of the forum for "moving eyes" "eye blink" or "eye mech".

Actually, this is (or was anyway) airing already in the U.S. on the Nicktoons network. I think they were just airing short segments as interstials, but it's the complete 1/2 hour CBC version that begins airing stateside in the fall.
My partner is a 4th grade teacher who uses a lot of puppetry in her classroom and she's found John Kennedy's book Puppet Mania extremely useful, as have some of the first grade teachers in her school. Muppets Make Puppets, which JoeyMuppet mentioned, is also great.

Just some feedback on a technical problem I found with the site, I'm not sure how the IP blocking with the voting works, but I wasn't able to vote using a desktop computer at an Internet cafe in Toronto (I did manage to vote later using my laptop elsewhere). I know of someone else who...
I think Ravage's advice is really good. What your options are really depends on the specifics of your project. What kind of style of puppets you want, what the script is, how many puppeteers you have, etc. Budget is usually the biggest factor.
The easiest way to do it would be find a builder...
I think the thread's title is a little misleading. I haven't read anything suggesting this is greenlighted yet. While obviously a pilot is being shot, it's a pilot. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see this series, but TBS may or may not pick it up.
