Ha that is very funny you mention that - I was thinking as I was relisting him that is might shoot a video to show his movement.... And next thing you know someones thinkin it :) I will definately add a video if i have to relist him again. IF i relist him - I am becoming attatched to him...

no the attatchment is internally - in the middle of the palm - between the foam. :)

Glad you like him - he is very cute :). My removable arm rods have a velcro pad built into the middle of the palm.

Well the real puppet does indeed smell of 40 years of sweat, Oscar is the only original puppet from the show - he hasnt been replaced - Caroll likes the old matted look and how his mouth has become slightly twisted. So he really is a smelly old grouch :grouchy:

hey Yetiman, When I carve foam I only use scissors - it takes alot of practise and even more time to accomplish a smooth finish. Luckily I am a very patient person - I would suggest you practise alot on scrap pieces of foam - also reticulated foam is easier to carve, but more expensive...

I agree with buck, making a sphere with 8 segments is the easiest way to create the shape, once you get the right segment shape you can scale it up or down to any size sphere u want, goodluck:)
