Here's another part.
Muppet Sports
Louis Kazagger covers a surfing contest from the beach area instead of the stage. The contest entries are Sweetums (with The Mutations as his crew) and Fletcherbird (with some of the bird dancers as his crew). The two surf, Sweetums falls into the water...
Here is the next part.
Beach
David Hogsohog and SPamela Hamderson are patroling the beach, when they happen to run into David Hasslehoff and Pamela Anderson. The four then sing "How Do You Do?", very badly. Statler and Waldorf show up, and remark how surprised they are that Hasslehoff and...
Kathy26 suggested this idea to me a few weeks ago, and I had very little interest until now. She suggested some guets stars, and I'm sorry to say that only a few that she suggested are going to be included, while a few of my favorites will also be included. This will be an outline, and will be...
I saw some Nostalgic Critic videos a few months ago. I like his reviews of Follow That Bird, Super Mario Bros., Tom and Jerry: The Movie, Space Jam, and Three Ninjas.
I don't suppose there's any time left for Sesame Workshop to obtain clearances to include the Sesame Street portions of the ceremony for the upcoming 40th anniversary DVD, right?
That timeline was great, though I wish that the 2000s was treated equally with the other decades, not more. It's...
Considering that every fifth episode used to show ending credits, I wonder if the credits for the fifth test pilot have credits. Assuming that a copy exists in the CTW vaults somewhere. Maybe an archivist can check and search for the remaining test pilots and see if he's credited in any.
I...
If I were to send something to the Muppet Mindset, should I just send it as an e-mail, or as a private message or what (can't think of other possibilities, but one never knows)?
I always noticed that most Muppets were normally only shown from the waste up, but I didn't really wonder why. I also didn't wonder why the characters were bigger in Sesame Street Live or the openign scene from Christmas Eve on Sesame Street. And it took me awhile to notice the arm wires... I...
Does anybody know whether the singing was pre-recorded or live? Because the Muppets rarely sing live. If the singing was pre-recorded, then I wonder how far in advance it was... If the replacement was more-or-less last minute I would have expected Kermit's singing to have been done by Steve.
Well, I just watched the performance again on youtube, and I agree now that Kermit didn't sound like Jim's Kermit in the whole performance. Kermit just sounded like Jim's voice for a few lines, and I thought he actually sounded a bit like Steve for a line, but most of his lines sounded more like...
I don't know if you saw the recent interview with Roger Langridge at Tough Pigs, but there Langridge said that after the Pigs in Space one-shot he'll have the sketch appear less often. I wonder if a Pigs in Space sketch might have been in the comic
and then dropped for space.
It is a shame...
After being available on Hulu and Sesame Workshop's official Youtube channel, Bert & Ernie Go to Egypt is finally on the site. The version with added background music.
Hill Street Twos with Ernie annd Grover is also on the site (it was on the site earlier this week, but wasn't in the...
I figured Disey got the rights to him and all of the other original Jim Henson Hour "MuppeTelevision" characters. I wasn't asking about the character rights, but the reason he had basically been dropped after the show's cancellation (heck, I wonder this about most of the original JHH...
I have read that somebody at Tough Pigs heard from a secret source who the performer was (I keep forgetting the name of that performer). I don't know when he learned who it was, but judging by some of the negative comments, I wonder if Disney would be willing to reveal the performers identity...
Hill Street Twos was recently added to sesamestreet.org (it doens't show up in the current "recently added" bar... I guess there were too many new clips added for it to be shown). And man, this is a funny skit.
I had seen an image from it at Muppet Wiki, showing Ernie and Grover, and I...
Okay, do you happen to know whatever happened to his character Leon from The Jim Henson Hour? He was such a major character, I think more major (and better) than Clifford, who has stuck around in productions since then. Leon only made a handful of post-JHH appearances.
I don't normally make much effort to watch Muppet guest appearnces on shows I don't normally watch, but I watched this appearance last night (and was online during the show, not paying any attention until Kermit and Piggy were on).
Personally, I thought that Kermit sounded more like Jim...
This is a great blog. I like the weekly Muppet character spotlight feature. Will this be exclusive to one contributor, or can others do some?
I had expressed interest in doing this "freelance writers guild" for Muppet Central, though I hadn't even started any drafts (I sort of wanted to see...
