Me, too. When I recently wrote my "top ten unreleased Sesame Street songs" article for The Muppet Mindset I had considered putting that song on the list. But since that song's from around 1997 and there haven't been many new Sesame Street audio releases (and I don't mean reissues) since around...
I can't think of too many early skits where Cookie Monster and Beautiful Day Monster appear as "punchlines"... I know Beautiful Day Monster was a "punchline" character at the end of the Ernie and Bert "cake" sketch, and was at the end of the Kermit "clues" sketch, though I'm unsure of whether...
It is possible to vote for multiple clips. I'm trying my best to be honest and vote once. But there is a "vote again" button.
For these decade votes, I wonder what decade Sesame Workshop considers skits from the 1969/1970, 1979/1980, 1989/1990, and 1999/2000 seasons to be from. I wodner if...
I'll be surprised if Warner Bros. releases any kind of Sesame Street sets with more than two discs. Maybe Warner will have newly-produced material as bonus features.
I recently had a dream where I saw the Sesame Street episode where Gordon decided to believe that Snuffy was real. I dreamt that the episode invovled several Sesame Street characters at a big crowded nightclub, and Mr. Snuffleupagus was there, talking to Big Bird, and there were a lot of people...
It's a shame that the bonus DVD doesn't have a preview for the 40th anniversary set. I hope that a trailer comes out online soon. It has previews for the Old School sets, but not the two-disc anniversary set?
It's a shame that Warner Bros. didn't get the Sesame Street license back in 2003 when they started the Looney Tunes: Golden Collection series. That would have been a great time for a collectors market Sesame Street release. I haven't bought too many of Warner Bros.'s animation DVDs besides the...
I'm trying to decide what clip to vote on tomorrow when it's the 1990s... Assuming they'll be up to nominate, I can't decide if I should vote for ABCD Blue, Things That I Remember, or the waiter Grover sketch where Grover competes with another waiter.
It's a shame there's not any way to...
Great review! But I must know... Is the section titled "Big screen, little screen" dedicated to the two movies?
Is Michael Earl mentioned in the book?
Is there any mention or photos of Leslie Mostly, Aristotle, Shivers the Penguin, The Mudman, Professor Hastings, or Rodeo Rosie?
What...
Has anybody noticed how in many sketches from season two, Herry Monster made unexpected appearances at the end, often as a surprise appearance? In many of them the main characters thought he was someone to be afraid of, when he had other intentions.
I'll list the various season two...
I didn't expect the original Telly Monster to have eye lids. I expected the eyes to be full circles without any blockage.
I really hope that the 40th anniversary DVD includes some footage of the early Telly. It'd be great to see his eyes spinning.
I know that some people have copies already. I'd like to know what all clips are in the montage on the bonus disc and how long it is. I heard that it's just a montage, and no full clips (rats!).
Or maybe Boom! could have it's artists draw original photos representing the months. Maybe have it varry... Roger Langridge could draw a few, Amy Mebberson could draw a few, and so on.
Comic Book Resources posted a preview for issue #2.

Is that Bill the Bubble Guy sleeping on the ship on the first page to show the ship? Looks like him, but I can't tell for sure.
I know that. It was made before the last two christmas specials. In fact, Sony Wonder released two different three-disc sets (one with the packaging for all three releases included, one with one thing of packaging).
