Rymoore: JB has it more or less right, I tend to do wrong side up and either a whip or locking whip, aka a button hole stitch. The seam on a mouth is ok to see, as theres an rather visible color change. So in there end you can't really hide it all that well

I only started buildng my own puppets this year, and my daughter wanted me to make her one. (she's 5 going on six) they don't look that complicated to construct...sans stoner eyes.
I honestly think its the faces that ruin them, other wise they're just kind of cartoony
