Trekkie, Have you thought of using Green screen effect or Black light puppetry for the shoot to get a uderwater scene, it might be more cost effective.

i have used welding rods attached to small doll joints. it works on smaller puppets. I believe they're a site that explains it but i can't remenber, some thing to do with Bear puppets, I seam to remember the Foam book Having a drawing in ther book too.

We had only one camera, so we hooked it up so we could see the audience and the puppet It worked well! Much better performance when you can see what your doing,

When I have use a camera and Monitor I have to different setups that I have used, one is to have a camers set up so you can see the audience and how the puppets interacting with them you take the camera run the The video (your camera should come with adaptor) to the monitor (or a tv with video...
