Lisa: ...<tilts head> <considers> How 'bout I hold off on the peck on the cheek until after I write the paper on this Freudian reading I've gotta turn in tomorrow? Sound good, Cliff? <Scoots over> Thanks SO much, Camilla. What the heck does this sentence mean? ...
Lisa: <Looks up> Can anyone help me translate the next four pages from Sigmund Freud to basic English before what's left of my minds explode? ...Anybody? ...<Hears crickets>... Hey Robin, your bedtime snack's ready...
<Looks up> ...Huh. That's funny. Thought I heard something odd happening over here. Silly me. <Returns to reading Freud> Hope I can finish this reading and write a paper on it before... Nine-thirty tomorrow morning...
Lisa: <crawls up onto the roof> Hey, Robin?
Chef: De teensy hoppity-hop-hop at de bookende skurl de skurl.
Lisa: ...I knew that.
Chef: Du sayen, nope!

Rowlf: Shouldn't we get this place packed up, and start heading for the roof again?
Lisa: Well-
Chef: Um de packedy packen de kookin de hoppity do!
Rowlf: Beg pardon...
Jim, I have a bit of an odd question... but then, it's the Muppets, so what ISN'T odd? ...I digress. My point, if I have one, is this: How do you, or how does any Muppet writer, write for the Swedish Chef? Do you just give a general idea of what Chef would be trying to convey, hand it the...
That is an AWESOME voice description. Awesome. I love it! Just plain wonderful and so apt and so disgustingly gross but fun to imagine. Perfect.
And gee, isn't that what you said about the Steve pics? <ahem> <innocent little puppy eyes> <cough cough> SWAEHB! <cough cough> <innocent little...
Another favorite song Mad Monty line of mine: "I could have been a surgeon, I like TAKING THINGS APART!" I love that line. I love that song. Have I mentioned that at prom a friend of mine and I tortured a guy by singing that to him? It was so much fun. ...I'm not doing much for my image as a...
Ooh, no, I don't think you DID mention that! It amuses me greatly.
And Mad Monty DOES have awesome lines! Perhaps not as many, although I'm sure the next time I watch I'll count and see, but he DOES have some good ones! For example, he has one of my favorite lines in one of my favorite songs...
In regards to Clueless and Polly being a fantastic villianistic duo, I say, here here! (Or is it hear hear? Hear here? Hear there? Here, there, and everywhere?) But I STILL say, as I said in the 100 Greatest Muppets Thread <shameless plug>, that it's a TRIO, and it includes Mad Monty!
And...
Ooh, I'm intrigued! I really like your writing style, too. I like that Cantus almost played his pipe, and I like his reasons for not doing so, and like I said, I am VERY intrigued!
This looks great so far! MORE PLEASE!

Thanks for the well wishes, but let me clarify something- I'm not going to Princeton. They invited me to apply, and I probably could have gotten in, but I wanted to stay closer to home, so I'm instead at Illinois State University. It's certainly not as prestigious of a school, but I think it...
Do allow me to clarify before I post this that we actually did all of this last night, but at the time I was far too exhausted to post... And then I couldn't sleep because I was too nervous/excited about moving into my dorm today... But now I'm sitting here on my bed in my dorm and unpacked and...
Well now, why SHOULDN'T we get into that in this thread? I think Season Two could prove to be an excellent sign of how well the Muppets can do today! Any idea where it's at on Amazon? I know Season One was the #1 DVD at some point...
Hey, Ethel Merman is well known! A speaker came and talked about her at my grandmother's retirement home. ...Gee, maybe that's saying something... And Paul Williams is known... I think... Anyway, the point is, the stars in Season Two are innately bigger stars than those in Season One, because...
A LOT of people know who Edgar Bergen and Charlier McCarthy are. In fact, a lot of people know who a LOT of the guests in Season Two are. JOHN CLEESE, guys! Bob Hope! Julie Andrews! These are people that people KNOW.
That is NOT all. Edgar Bergen! Do you KNOW how often he is mentioned when the Muppets are asked about their favorite guest stars? SO often! And he is IN THIS SEASON! YAAAAAY!
