    Leave Frank alone

Dr. Teeth also said "Clap your hands!" in the "We Are Family" video (which was sorta irritating) that aired on the six-month anniversary and one-year anniversary of 9/11.

Hey, Alaskans are people too. OK, no one asks it. But everyone wants to know! I'm tired OK, I woke up at 6pm.

John Ritter and Johnny Cash die

Agreed. I think Justin did deserve "Best Male Video" but Cash hands-down deserved "Video of the Year." But all the video won was "Best Cinematography." Humph. I believe Madeline Kahn succumbed to cancer. I thought there was a news article here at MC, but I can't find it.

    Jim's Favourite Food

Well I was born in Japan (not Japanese, just born there), so I guess I can't share that caricature. Maybe I should actually TRY it.

The book is called "Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year, 1991" (yes, 1991) by Charles Brooks. It also has a black-and-white editorial picture of Kermit sitting on a brick wall crying with the moon in the background and it has another cartoon with clouds forming the likenesses of Sammy Davis Jr...

The Disney afternoon of our youth

I know DIC management bought DIC from Disney a few years ago and actually bought Golden Books, but haven't heard from them since. And Doug, formerly a Nickelodeon character, was created by Jumbo Pictures, but they SOMEHOW teamed up with Disney for the ABC show. As for Recess and Pepper Ann...

John Ritter and Johnny Cash die

I remember waking up Friday around 5am and seeing on CNN "John Ritter Dies." And I was like "What!" Then like 30 seconds later there came "Johnny Cash Dead at 71" and I was surprised again. It's weird when two celebrities die in one day, it reminds me of 3/27/02 when Dudley Moore and Milton...

Jim Henson and Muppets Funeral Poster

Well actually, a few months ago I read a book with editorial cartoons from the year 1990. I was just looking for a Jim Henson editorial cartoon. It had a black-and-white cartoon of the very thing you're describing.

    Hannity and Colmes?!

I believe Kermit was on there in late Nov. promoting the NBC Christmas movie. Unfortunately, I wasn't a regular viewer of "Hannity & Colmes" like I am now, so I have no clue how the interview went. :(

    Henson slashes European arm

Wow, so Henson UK is done, eh? I never thought I'd see the day. Well, that's the business world. As long as the Creature Shop is still up and running, I'll be satisfied.
