i think a lot of the problem may be that we all over hyped this to ourselves and each other and may have been expecting a lot more then we got.. but, that said, it was still a pretty darn good little special. i liked it, and while i may have felt slightly let down that it wasn't the glorious...
oh yeah.. i'm 35 and can totally see Santa being real in the muppetverse... we've seen Santa as real in their world any number of times before, so why not now?
(and I live a lot closer to the North Pole then most of you.. so.. ya know.. *wink*)
ok, just finished watching.. and thought it was pretty darn good.. maybe not quite all I'd hoped for.. but then i'm one of them crazy internet muppet fiends.. hehehe
thought it was good, some of the cameos seemed a little weird, but went well. Piggy's face seemed just a little too.. oval? or...
bother, it still won't load.. i think it's all a plot.. and evil scheme to prevent me from seeing kermit on dr phil... ah well.. maybe it's just flooded by all the millions of people trying to view the clip right now.... (i'm going to tell myself this anyway..) and will have to wait a few days...
while I'd certainly love it if Jim was still around to be Kermit, it's not gonna happen
but, I've always felt that Steve has done a wonderful job, especially considering he had such a huge role (well, several, actually..) to fill. I was as wary as any at first, but he has done such a wonderful...
darn it! i missed it! all cuz I was stuck in line at the post office... *sigh* glad to hear it went well though (even if it might have been a lot of the same old material)
can someone please let us know what was said about the whole piggy/kermit relationship? (anything new, anything to indicate...
or at least enough advanced notice on the price point that we can scrimp and save up for him...
then just need to plot to get piggy so i can build my Muppet Nativity... hehehe
wait.. what? they cut a majorly important song? why? when? dang.. I just realized the other day that I didn't have this one on DVD yet.. just VHS so was going to go look for it.. but if they've cut it up.. not sure I want to bother... (will just copy over my vhs..)
