Great Seeing you there!
Great seeing you there, Chenmeister! Albeit really brief! Your window display really grabbed people's attention. Nice blog, glad you and your family had such a great time - mine sure did! Did you stick around for the adult cabaret?
My site has some new clips on it...
No Problem!
But about Swamp Years... I enjoy puppets, Muppets, all that good stuff. And when it comes down to it, calling The Swamp Years the worst Muppet movie is like calling Ringo the poorest Beatle.
Well, it's not called "The Muppets: Kemit's Swamp Years". And the word 'Muppet' isn't uesd in it.
That's to their credit. I mean, obviously it's a Muppet project. Kermit. Duh. But this at least gives the project breathing room as not to have the weight and pressure of being another Muppet...
Actually, I think you've just proven my point! But to be fair, what films/shows do you show people to try to get them into the Muppets?
I feel 'The Muppets' work better when they're not necessarily attempting to target 'childen'. It been well-documented (and is obvious to its fans) that the...

I swear I saw dollar signs in their left eye with mouse-ears in their right.
Nonsense!
I believe that they're current lack of hipness is due to the fact that Disney owns them now. Yuck. Had they kept working in the direction of IAVMMCM with NBC & MGM, they'd be well on their way back.
That proves (not just) my Disney-killed-The-Muppets theory. NBC made IAVMMCM Which IMO is superior to OZ. It's as good as Muppets from Space. because while it doesn't have as much heart, it makes up for it by being funnier.
Maybe Disney will just let the Muppets continue to gather dust. Then...
On paper, it was a great idea. Overall, I'd say that it's inconsistent.
There are some amusing moments, and some that are genuienly moving. However, there are also moments which make you wonder where the quality-control went in casting and writing. "This got approved?" I thought more than...
