No problem. Thanks for understanding. I understand where the confusion might have been. The game went from Big Brother to Survivor. But I did put the title "Survivor" in the subject of my PM if I remember correctly. Still, I hope that if we do this again, you will participate. :)
Well...some of your performance as Grover has been a bit off from what I have observed too. I mean, you are playing fine its just Grover has said some pretty shocking things. I figured maybe he has already gone nuts before one week was up. I dunno. I know you can keep in character. I guess...
Sorry, but the reason I eliminated Gonzo (KrazedMuppet) is because she had not started to play the whole week and a lot had gone on including the first challenge. After sending a PM a couple days ago and not getting a response back (knowing she had been online since then) I figured she was...
Tribal Council Announcement week #1
**ATTENTION SURVIVORS**
First of all, I want to congratulate all of you for getting through your first week on the island. However, the sad news is that due to an unfortunate accident involving a leopard and a scorching volcano, The Great Gonzo (from the...
There was also a song during the number of the day segment (I think it was 19) and The Count sings it. Countess was in the scene too. The tune that the Count sings sounds an awful lot like Big Bird's "All I Want for Christmas" song from Elmo Saves Christmas. Anyone else notice.
Many of his characters do have a similar vocal quality, but they are still distinctively different i guess, as with many of the others. Kermit and Ernie, and Fozzie and Bert are good examples of this. If I listed to the voice without seeing who it was, i could probably pick it out.
Big Bird: Oh boy! (going to window) We'll be right down, Snuffy!!
Snuffy: Okay, Bird! (waving his snuffle)
Big Bird: Come on, you guys. Lets go! La la la la la!
Yeah me too. I have just recently started to be able to do some of Jerry's characters. Maybe its cuz I have a new appreciation for him as a performer. Not that I didn't like him before but I do more now. I find myself working more on Sherlock Hemlock, Pops, and Floyd.
Yeah, I think for a woman it could be compared to Fran Brill's Zoe vs. Prairie. Prairie is in a much higher place in the voice which I guess you could call falsetto of head voice for a girl. I'm not sure. And Zoe's is more on voice.
Big Bird: Hi, Prairie! Oh, thanks, you know how I love birdseed cookies! Haha.
Rosita: Hola, Prairie. We were wondering if you would like to come out and play with us.
Big Bird: Snuffy's outside. We were gonna play some Snuffleball if you want to join us. Or...we can just stay inside.
Bry: Where are you guys going?
Rosita: We're going down to say hi to Prairie Dawn. We haven't really seen her much lately except at cheer practice.
Big Bird: We thought maybe she would want to come out and play.
Bry: Oh, thats a good idea. Tell her I said hi! You going too, Snuffy...
That is so cool! Can't wait to see it. Also, I've noticed that Eric Jacobson's Bert comes across as being much younger and almost childish compared to Oz's. Anyone agree?
**REMINDER**
Remember that you must have your camp diagram drawn out and posted by Midnight (I gave you an extension), pacific time, on Friday. Whichever team can complete the task first will win immunity for the week. The other team will be going to the first Muppet Tribal Council to vote...
I believe that nose song with Harvey Feirstein has been shown before. So it wouldn't really be new.
Also...Frank Oz reprising Bert? Was this new footage? I haven't seen the episode yet soo...
Okay, Beauregard has agreed to help post the map. It is not the greatest piece of art work so please be kind. It was done on the paints program. If you have any questions about it, let me know.
