You know the longer it takes to get any kind of answer the more I think it is a replacement for Kermit. I was also watching the clip from D23 with the group. Kermit doesn't say a thing. Everyone else pretty much says something. Kermit says nothing.:concern:

I'm sorry to bring this up, but wouldn't it just be Disney to do something to start a mini-stirup about "The Great Kermit Switch of 09" just to get some people talking? I'm reaching here, I know.

Well that's good news. Hopefully it was just a one time thing due to a conflict of two appearances.

Yeah, they said Kermit was at the D23 convention. Maybe Steve was there for that. I think I'm just hoping for the best. That he was sick or had another engagement. Not that I want him to be sick. Just want to see him continue to do Kermit.

Was wondering... Since the Halloween special has been cancelled, maybe Steve is now working on the Fraggle Rock and Dark Crystal movies. Maybe these would be keeping him from doing the T.V. spots. Hope he is well. If anything I hope he and his family are fine.
