I was thinking about the possibility of doing a Collectibles Guide. I wouldn't know where to start though. If you would like to contribute with that, thats awesome. It is mainly a Sesame Street thing, but I may once in a while put a little thing about other Muppet projects in the news section...
Also, I just noticed that in the second episode when they pan the street showing everyone cleaning after the hurricane, you can see Grover in the very back of the arbor area picking up things. He is easy to miss but it was so good to see him there.
Big Bird: (singing) La la la la la!
Bry: (waking up) Good morning, Big Bird.
Big Bird: Hi!
Bry: What are you doing?
Big Bird: Just enjoying the morning.
Bry: Where are Telly and Rosita?
Big Bird: They had class this morning.
Bry: And Snuffy?
Big Bird: Visitting his Granny.
Bry...
Yes, but that is what little kids do. You be a six year old whose house just got blown away from a nasty hurricane and try to put it back together. He was going to be fine obviously and the grown ups were constantly calming him. Thats just what happens to little kids.
I dunno. Whenever I wrote fan mail to a performer I would send it to the Sesame Workshop address, given that they perform on Sesame Street which most of them do (or did at the time as the case may be). I wrote to both Frank Oz and Carroll Spinney. I am now thinking I want to write to Marty...
Wow! That's wonderful. My grandparents just celebrated their 50th anniversary this year. We had a big party for them back in December with family and all of their friends. It was like one huge reunion. It was truly special.
Yeah there is a cd coming along too but it has not been released yet. I dunno if it is just a recorded version of the book, but I think there is recording of Jerry Nelson and others talking.
Well...there are more Fraggle fans in America alone than we may realize. It was kind of a cult classic. I think maybe even more so or equal to the Muppet Show. I would think that season one sales would be strong enough to have a season 2 release and so on. As long as the word gets out there...
Sherry Netherland was her name. I almost forgot about her, but then again I don't think she was very popular. Probably why she was canned. Pretty forgetable if you ask me.
Also, who was the female monster that was yellow? I think she may have had horns. This was a long time ago. Maybe...
(All in bed)
Bry: Hey, Telly?
Telly: Yeah?
Bry: You didn't go to that library thing did you?
Telly: No, why?
Bry: Rosita?
Rosita: No.
Bry: I didn't think so.
Telly: Well...why do you ask?
Bry: Nothing. (rolls back over) You weren't in the bathroom a little while ago either...
As you know I have been in the process of planning my site. I have already started building but there really isn't to much there yet. I am really excited about this new project and I hope you guys will like it and come aboard.
D'Snowth, are you still interested in being my reviewer? That...
Yes, I also read about this. I can't imagine how awful it would have been for them to have Spinney remove the costume. Totally ruins the magic. Kids would never be able to watch Sesame Street the same way again. In fact, I think the whole franchise would be ruined.
Okay... so the (not yet released) audio cd version has the cover picture of Jim Henson holding the puppet in sillouette. The book is green with Kermits face.
