Can't determine whether that's more interesting or not, but I wonder if there could be a successful adult cartoon series that frequently has loads of obvious sex and drug humor but also has just as many episodes without that kind of humor.
I got this book for Christmas. After I got it I searched the forum to see if there was a thread for this book, and couldn't find one. I recently thought about starting it myself, but then procrastination got in the way. :)
This is a great book, though I can't tell if it has any information...
Well, I found that there is a trope I was asking about (the one regarding people badmouthing others who suddenly happen to show up behind them), and saw that it's called Right Behind Me.
I'm watching the episode where Aaron plays with Michelle and Teddy, but doesn't really like having to be around Michelle because she's a girl. At one point they play superheroes, and Aaron says that Michelle can't play. Becky suggests she be Wonder Woman, but Aaron dismisses it because Michelle...
Why is it that on many TV shows and movies where the main character is a kid, the child actor often doesn't get top billing? I know there are exceptions (Macully Culkin in most of his starring roles, Fred Savage in The Wonder Years and, I think, The Wizard), but it often seems the kids don't get...
Regular Show is a great show. It's been so long since there was last a new show "for kids" that I actually liked, but Regular Show, Adventure Time, and The Looney Tunes Show are all great. Though I feel Regular Show really should be an Adult Swim show.
I'm pretty sure Jerry Nelson wasn't involved, though he did record voices for Here Comes the Muppets and performed in The Muppets at Walt Disney World. Then again, I think I read that Muppet*Vision 3D was actually filmed at Disneyland (or at least in California) even though it was only shown at...
It's a shame that they make movies with just one fairly-common-but-not really word in the title. There's Labyrinth, Pan's Labyrinth, and now this (and there's also the game Sonic Labyrinth as well as a number of Sonic games having Labyrinth Zones). The term Labyrinth had been around before the...
I would say those aren't too important, the whatnot women are merely back-up singers, but I guess we can say the Muppaphones are Jerry, Richard, and Jim.
It's interesting, you keep finding old TMS outlines where I didn't list "who performed who"... I could have sworn I did that with at least...
I was recently surfing through Henson.com, looking at the various production pages. Back when it listed the Muppet productions, noting that Disney owns the Muppets now, I thought it was just referring to what Disney got, which included some things that the distribution rights are owned by other...
I was looking at the Odyssey Channel page at Muppet Wiki, and saw that it mentions that The Kermit and Piggy Story has aired on that channel (and I actually think I remember reading that it was on the channel at least once). I wonder what Odyssey cut from it's broadcast.
I find it a bit odd...
And I was looking at the page for The Silent Bob and that's not exactly what I had in mind.... That's where silent characters CAN easily interact with others despite their lack of dialogue (and it seems lack of signs or gestures... I didn't notice any non-anthropomorphic animal characters...
Of course it seems like in movies, the silent characters usually end up getting to talk at some point, at least if they are main characters. Heck, some of the most quiet Muppets (Lips, Bruno) have had some of their few speaking appearances in movies (considering how minor they are the dialogue...
Watched a few reruns lately where the full opening theme is included. Weird... I wonder if the episodes are just shorter than usual or what. I've seen the full openings on "Happy Birthday Babies" part 1 and the episode where Joey teaches Michelle to ride a bike (which is on right now), and I saw...
I don't think TV Tropes has any tropes for when "silent" characters talk. It could be a good trope... Perhaps call it "The Silent One Speaks" or "The Tom and Jerry" (referring to how they talk in Tom and Jerry: The Movie). Perhaps if there could be a seperate page where a non-speaking character...
Are The Kermit and Piggy Story, Children's Songs and Stories, and Country Music the only ones to not use the usual theme music at the beginning and end? I know Rock Music begins with an instrumental version of Tenderly, and I'm pretty sure the usual theme appears at the end though I can't...
I assume you're referring to It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie, but has Universal been including NBC celebrities and references in it's other recent movies?
And what movie are you referring to regarding ABC removing the NBC logo from a Jumbotron? At first I thought you were referring...
What's the deal with productions/fiction where somebody tries to keep a secret from someone, and in the end the person they were trying to keep the secret from finds out anyway, either because the secret keeper can't stop them from finding out, or the one keeping the secret decides to confess, or...
