Hooray for 1981!!! Because I, too, was born that year.
Sesame Street has always a part of my life. My mom started doing daycare from our house when I was 2 weeks old, and the kids watched it every single day. I have so many good memories related to Sesame Street.
I watched The Muppet...
Yeah, but not as much as I miss classic SS.
When I was little, the first (actually, one of the few) VHS tapes I had was Muppet Babies. It had 3 episodes on it. One had Miss Piggy leave the nursery in a bubble. I'm almost positive I don't have that tape anymore.
Darn! :concern:
Here's a possibility:
Maybe the writers decided that since you are supposed to be quiet in a library, there wouldn't be enough scenes to do there. The fix-it shop provided more possibilities for character interaction.
That's my 2 cents.
I'm sorta glad to see Leah go. She always seemed stuck up to me for some reason. That Jennifer is a good singer, but she doesn't create much spark, you know? She's easy to forget.
I remember most of these with fondness. Here are a few more I like:
-(animated) The kid who has a list of items to get from the store (a loaf of bread, a carton of milk, a stick of butter). He keeps repeating the items as he walks to the store, but gets distracted by a fire engine and some...
I don't think my Target ever had those, cuz I roam the toy aisles quite often. They have Muppet Babies plushes though. Does it bug anybody else that Kermit is not wearing the right outfit? Fozzie and Miss Piggy seemed to be wearing the right clothes. They were out of Gonzo. And where are the...
Wow! It's hard to pick just one!
But I will say the one where Ernie is painting a picture of Bert. Ernie won't let Bert see it til he is completely finished. Then, when he is done painting, Bert is so excited to see how his portrait turned out. But the painting has Bert wearing a beret...
Sooooooo?
What does everyone think about the final 12?
I knew George Huff would make it. He's so cool!
I'm way excited about Jon Peter! I couldn't help grinning for him when he was singing last night.
Yay George!
I was flipping through the channels last night when I found The Concert for George on PBS. I have the CD, but watching it was way cool. I especially liked seeing Dhani perform.
My favorite George Harrison song is "Something."
:sing:
I know what you mean. It's like that song from Sesame Street. "We all sing with the same song, the same voice...." It's one of my favorite SS songs, but I can't remember all the words. My signiture comes from that song though.
1) Age and birthday. 22, Aug 20, 1981
2) Favorite band/singer/musician(s). The Beatles, Billy Joel, Goo Goo Dolls, Coldplay, and so many more.
3) Favorite song. hard to pick just one, but I'm going to say "Here, There, and Everywhere" by the Beatles. If you saw Phoebe's wedding on...
