Why are people so angry about this film? I thought although it was not as good as some previous Muppet films, it was still very good. Is it Pepe? Is it the one fart joke? Is it the lack of Rowlf?

Very neat! If I ever went there, I'd expect some giant thing to catch me from behind a vegetable.
"Gotcha! Look, Daddy! I caught a Fwaggle! Look!"
"Oh, that's nice son! Heh heh heh..."
Tom Hanks might be able to do Chef, but then again, so can everybody.
I always imagined John Williams as either Statler or Waldorf, with Robert Zemeckis playing the other half.
I just passed 400 posts. I'm on my way to becoming a Senior Member!
I'd post some mathematical calculations, but I'm too busy spouting Pepe lines from MWoO.
"What do these do here, okay?"
"Oh, those are my nipples."
"Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuu... I FEEL DIRTY!"
Thank you, Kevin. Somebody's finally said what I've been thinking all along.
If the Muppets try to stick to nothing but clean humor, the public's unfortunate (and incorrect) image of them will never be changed. That image is of a group of for-kids-only puppets. If Pepe is the way to change...
My father swears that SS had three Jump the Shark points (and these are not in order):
1) Everyone can see Snuffy
2) Elmo
3) When they went to 40 on the counting bits
Gotcha. Thanks!
Another question: Did Brian Henson have a hand in developing the RC and computer equipment? I know Faz Fazakas did a lot of it, but I've often heard of Brian operating RC stuff (Hoggle, etc.) and was wondering if he helped to invent it.
If Kermit doesn't host the next Muppet series, it's practically a sure go that Pepe will take the reins. I love Pepe, but I don't think he deserves that big an honor. If I had to choose, I'd say Scooter or Gonzo should do it.
Well, to Jamie and Rowlf:
"Welcome to our laboratory! Please don't touch anything."
"Mee ma meep mo meep!"
Just joking, free to fool around here. And remember to have fun.
My pros and cons are as follows.
Pros:
- Eric Jacobson's excellent Sam the Eagle.
- The bringing back of all the pirates from MTI, especially Angel Marie.
- Johnny Fiama. 'Nuff said.
- Pepe as Toto. I know that this was a major downer for some that it was Pepe in the role and not Rowlf...
My user name is patterned after Jerry Nelson's famous "Pigs In Space" announcer.
An interesting fact: Check out the member list, and you will see that no-one has taken the name "Kermit the Frog" in its entirety.
If the MHC really got smart, the top corporate structure would look something what's below. Although it would involve the creation of a new company, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard:
Martin G. Baker- CEO, MHC and MCOI
Robert Iger- President, MHC; CFO, MHC and MCOI
Muppet Creative...
Sorry-didn't intend to be mean.
The petition would probably have to be seen by somebody high up to work. But, if it can happen at HIT, you never know...
