Characters I most want to see return are Louis Kazagger, Fleet Scribbler, Seymour, Gaffer, Doglion, Timmy, Mean Mama, Gorgon Heap, and most of the Jim Henson Hour characters, most importantly Digit, Leon, Lindbergh, and maybe Vicki, Waldo, Flash, Beard, and the Solid Foam Drummer. In fact we...
It's great to see all those scans from the Count It Higher activity book. Interesting how Grover is drawn in it despite not being in the video itself (but then again, the Play-Along Songs activity book has Little Bird, who's not in the video).
Also interesting that most of the pages for songs...
Noticed that the "part 5" film is just one segment, and one not previously mentioned on the wiki (and, I assume, not online). I wonder if that's a long segment.
I hope that whoever ends up purchasing this puts the stuff we didn't previously know about on YouTube or DailyMotion or somewhere...
And as I said, there are a number of characters who don't have individual pages. There's not individual pages for every member of The Gogolala Jubilee Jugband, Geri and the Attrics, the Muppets Tonight Band, or the Extremes. And several Frackles do not have their own pages. And who knows how...
I assume that the e-mail address hasn't changed.
EDIT to add: Oh, you must mean that you hope your Weekly Muppet Wednesday article comes tomorrow as opposed to them delaying it in favor of another anniversary article. I hope there's a WMW tomorrow as well.
When I was in the second grade (1991-1992) they showed some film strips of The Rescuers and The Fox and the Hound. I'm guessing those were Super 8 films, unless they actually sold film copies (or if the teachers were lucky enough to get a full film copy). Watching those in the classroom was the...
The Muppet Mindset celebrates it's five-year anniversary (and switches from Blogspot to Wordpress) today: http://muppetmindset.wordpress.com/2014/08/26/5-years-of-the-muppet-mindset/
Hopefully there'll be a few more articles to celebrate (I think Ryan said on a podcast interview that he plans...
Top ten words I constantly forget the proper spelling for:
10. Austrailia or Australia
9. Prision or Prison
8. Almighty or Allmighty
7. Lose or Loose (two different words I often but not always forget which is which)
6. Accidently or Accidentally
5. Apparrently, Apparantly, or Apparently
4...
Muppet Wiki has pages for 2,834 Muppets, and pages for 913 "The Muppets" characters. Of course, there's a number of character groups where not all characters have their own individual pages, which lowers the number at Muppet Wiki.
Top ten Sesame Street Live shows of the past I wish I could see (many for the first time, a few I did see and wish I could see again):
1. Big Bird's Totally Armature Show
2. Save Our Street
3. Big Bird and the ABC's
4. Sleeping Birdy
5. Big Bird's Sesame Street Story
6. Big Bird Goes Hollywood...
One thing I don't really understand is the concept of Oscar's can being city property. So if it's city property, wouldn't the city, and not Oscar, have a say in where it is?
And it's ironic how at the end, Oscar remarks to Ronald Grump that he hates happy endings, when he was responsible for...
So many people have posted videos of themselves getting soaked with buckets, I wonder if anybody thought about doing a video where they donate the money. Though it probably wouldn't be as funny.
I also wonder if anybody thought about doing it all wrong - either having a bucket of money dumped...
I've noticed that a few pages list "acceptable targets" without saying why they are acceptable. The page on The Simpsons lists the elderly as acceptable targets without saying why, though I do know why (on the first season commentary they say that the show makes fun of old people so much because...
Tonight I had another idea, though I know I've mentioned a similar idea before...
But it would be cool if Sesame Workshop could put out "best of" collections for each season on iTunes, each having their own volume. Though I doubt they'd put it all out in one day, and would be a little...
What I want to know is, what are the consequences for NOT having water dumped or donating to charity if you are challenged? I looked at wikipedia and a few other web pages but couldn't find out anything that happens if you do neither.
And if you get challenged after you've already been and...
That trailer for Save Our Street was great. So we got to hear what Mr. Meanie sounded like (when I heard that voice I thought it sounded like either Marty Robinson or Brian Meehl... Then I found that it wasn't any of the Muppet performers). Wow, in one trailer we see Snuffy standing behind Big...
I think I've suggested an idea somewhere where many performances of the same song appear on one release, but a new idea I've had would be a DVD of the songs that have had the most performances... And combine the various renditions in one montage. Like the "C is for Cookie mash-up" that appears...
By "correspond", I assume you mean he didn't send any notes, memos, or letters to the Children's Television Workshop, Warner Bros., the director, or anyone else involved with the creative aspects of the film, right? Though I remember seeing an interview with the films director, Ken Kwapis...
