    The Trix Rabbit

This is horrendously disrespectful to the memory of Thurl Ravenscroft, the voice of Tony the Tiger. If you really want to remember him, go here: http://forum.muppetcentral.com/showthread.php?t=19946

    Muppet Look A Likes

Thanks, HPDJ. The picture is based on the fact that my father always compared Davey Johnstone to Janice, and even fired off a piece of fan mail to him relating this story.

Does anybody like these old books?

Ah, Mr. Men. The quality entertainment that I was given when I was younger. I yearn for those days... kinda. On second thought, I'll stick with Sam the Eagle. I do love the Hargreaves series though. I always thought that they were rather funny books.

Any plans for Muppet Oz McDonald Toys?

The Wendy's MFS figures were substandard except for the Kermit keychain, of which I have five.

    Favorite Palisades figures

Yes, yes indeed. Sal is my second favorite MT character- ironically, my favorite is Johnny Fiama. I gotta tell you, that Bill Barretta is a genius- Pepe, Bobo, Johnny... the list goes on and on!

    A question about Palisades' paint

Why do so many Palisades figures suffer from extremely sticky paint? Dr. Phil, Marvin Suggs and Frog Scout Robin immediately spring to mind. I was always confused about this- is it the style of paint used, the material it's layed on, the color? Any comments on why this sticky paint shows up so...

Fraggles in 2005: Make a guess!

Yup Indeed, a soundtrack would be nice so that we wouldn't have to search through too many used record stores looking for the BMG Kidz CDs from the early '90s. If HIT took their energy off of releasing Barney CDs for a minute, we might have something here..

Sweetums and other muppets his size.

Now that would be a great sketch- Piggy in the hospital after breaking her leg due to karate-chopping Sweetums. And I'm sure the big lug brought her to the hospital himself!

    RIP Thurl Ravenscroft

I just found out that voice acting legend Thurl Ravenscroft died of prostate cancer. He was 91. You undoubtedly know Mr. Ravenscroft as the voice of Tony the Tiger, on the Frosted Flakes commercials. He once said, "I'm the only man to make a career out of one word- 'Grrrrreat!'" This...

Why is Steve Whitmire the voice of Kermit?

While I am not really sure, you might want to surf on over to the "Interviews" section in "Articles" and check out the Steve Whitmire interview there.

    Wisdom teeth

Ha ha, very funny. Ho ho, it is to laugh. No seriously, you're pretty funny though. What sort of gas were you given during the operation? My aunt relates stories to me of a "twilight sleep" and its horrible drug after-effects.

    Tony Danza Today?

Tony Danza's show sucks, but the Muppets appearance was good. Tony once gave away a fridge in a contest, and in the process of doing so asked the stupidest question ever to the winner: "Where ya gonna put it?" It's hard to get significantly stupider than THAT...

    On The Buses

I've started this to ask if anyone else remembers a great series from the early '70s called "On the Buses". This was a British series concerning bus driver Stan and his conductor Jack, and all of their work. It is one of my very favorite shows, and I'm wondering if anyone else around here has...

    Muppets 1990's BMG CD's

Indeed. I have Muppet Hits and Kermit Unpigged, and MH fits Rowlf's description.

    Favorite Palisades figures

Oh yeah, the sticky paint is... well, you know. Frog Scout Robin's accessories seem to have the same paint on them. And I just realized that Beau is not one of Palisades' better efforts.

Your Thoughts: The Muppets' Wizard of Oz

This is precisely right on. We should enforce strong discipline instead of eliminating anything that might cause the need for strong discipline in the first place. Kids can not be totally clean of everything until they reach legal drinking age- I know I wasn't and I turned out great.
