Chapter 5
Kermit walked away from the ferris wheel, still a bit woozy from the experience.
"Hey, Kerm", said Clifford, "I'm having a wonderful time here."
"That's good", said Clifford, "but I think I should have a talk with the manager. Things keep falling apart."
"Si", said Pepe...
Chapter 4
Bunsen was trying out his latest invention, a beam that creates living space.
"With this invention, we'll have more sleeping space in our hotel room, enough for all of us Muppets. Let's turn it on."
Bunsen turned the switch, and a beam showed a door shape, leading to an...
Chapter 3
The Muppets were exploring the area.
"Wow, look at all this science equipment", said Bunsen.
"Oooh", said Beaker.
"This gadget would work perfectly with our lightning-collecting device", said Bunsen.
"Hey, Camilla, they've got some electric pipes", said Gonzo.
"Bawk...
Chapter 2
The Muppets arrived at the parking lot of Fun Wine Country.
"We're finally here", said Miss Piggy, "that was a long bus ride."
"It was only 21 minutes", said Kermit.
"Next time", said Piggy, "can Moi have a plane or private jet?"
"I can't wait to have all the cheese I...
Would dated content really be a reason for an old video release to not get a DVD release? From time to time we get new DVD releases with classic clips (though we haven't really gotten any this year, unless you count what's in the Count von Count montage in Count on Elmo). I'm surprised that...
Chapter 1
Our story begins in at WRC-TV in Washington, D.C. The year is 1955. There's auditions for a new local show, and the casting has been almost finished.
"I got the part!", said Blingo, a purple guy who looked like part-salmon, part-buffalo.
"Yeah, but everyone who auditioned got...
In The Simpsons episode "Who Shot Mr Burns Part 2", Sideshow Mel determines that Smithers couldn't have shot Mr. Burns because he'd mentioned that he never misses the show "Pardon My Zinger" and he made a joke on the news that had been made in the opening monologue, and the show started at the...
I know that. I didn't know that years ago when I thought it would be impossible for a full-body character to ride a bike because I thought most full-body characters were performed like Big Bird.
Reading this, it hit me that it seems like Animal very rarely refers to other characters by name, and I don't think I've ever heard him refer to anybody from The Electric Mayhem by name.
The first three episodes didn't have many songs, pretty much one-per-episode (and I don't remember "Bear Left Then Bear Write" having any numbers), but with the next one involving karaoke, I guess the next one will make up for the shortage of singing so far.
I've just now started thinking that...
Maybe I've asked before, but what's the deal with the opening scene for Mrs. Doubtfire, where Daniel quits because the cartoon he's in glorifies smoking? He objects because it's a children's cartoon, the rest of the staff doesn't show his concern (and it's already animated, so it's too late to...
Reminds me of something I thought a long time ago. I thought that, while the regular-sized Muppets could ride bikes, it'd ironically be more challenging for the full-body characters, as I assumed that all full-bodied Muppets (besides the Gorgs) were performed the same way as Big Bird, with one...
I've been reading some of the "Strawman has a point" entries, which is for characters who are supposed to be against the main characters or seen as "wrong" for what they say or do, when they do make good points. And I find that I agree/identify with/feel sorry for the strawmen more than the...
Gonzo can't tell them apart and the ones that he calls Camilla usually go along with it. Maybe one of them broke up with him (or vice-versa) for the first time, unaware that he's been with many Camilla chickens.
Last night, I dreamt that the second episode of The Jim Henson Hour was rerun on television. And that it was a lot better than it actually is (in actuality, the second episode is one of my least favorites).
Recently, I was watching Rowlf and Baskerville's performance of "Dog Eat Dog", and it seems like the laugh track goes off when nothing funny is said or done. Seems like there's laughter whenever Baskerville sings. Is it supposed to be funny that it's a dog singing?
Rover Joe did appear later in the season, though.
It reminds me of something I had been thinking about. So there's a Muppet Workshop in New York, but The Jim Henson Company also has an office in LA, and there's quite a few Muppet productions that were done in Canada and England (and other...
According to Muppet Wiki, her name is . Don't know what the source is, though.
I've seen quite a few pics from this next episode that I haven't seen in any promos, and before the last episode premiered, there were several photos I saw that I didn't see in any promos or sneak peeks online. Are...
