So how's the progress coming with getting permission from the celebrities?

I would say that they will remain profitable, but not nearly as much as they were with the Muppet revenues. I think I heard that Disney will be paying them like a 5% cut of the profits though.

Personally, I'm glad that the featured players will include Rowlf and some of the other older beloved Muppets. Unfortunately, they're not used as much as they could be in the new stuff.

I didn't realize that there was that much extra to the story. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that the MGM movie is so ingrained in our culture, that we just accept that as the actual story. It is kind of unfortunate. :sympathy:

I agree as well. It does set a very dangerous precedent to act like we are the saviors of the world. That condescending attitude is one of many reasons that I think other countries dislike us.

Looking back, it is just amazing what some parents would do for a stuffed toy. I've seen file footage of it and it is just unbelievable. :attitude:
