I recently read somewhere that Jim and Jerry only wrote a treatment, not a proper script or screenplay.
I saw it last night, and thought it was okay. I was also surprised to see The Muppet Christmas Carol air on the channel afterwards. I hadn't read anything about that airing.
So is this a...
It seems like Muppet Wiki has been slow with adding info on these. Most of the info at Muppet Wiki has been added by me, some right away, some not. It took a long time before pictures were posted there (and by that, I mean a long time after pictures were posted online).* And now there are...
I saw a picture on Facebook (besides the one on Tough Pigs) that showed concept art which included a tuxedo Kermit and a generic Swinetrek pig.
EDIT TO ADD: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10208147075459927&set=p.10208147075459927&type=3&theater
I agree that this is the most Muppet-y episode so far. But while the Scooter plotline was great and fun, I didn't care much for the Kermit plot (aside from the Kermit and Rowlf scene, and Kermit turning his back yard into a swamp). I'm not really into things like stress control or hippie ways of...
So will the Kermit variant be paired with a variant as well? Otherwise, that's 13 figures - Reporter Kermit, Tuxedo Kermit, Piggy, Link, Strangepork, generic Swinetrek crew member, Rowlf, Animal, Dr. Teeth, Statler, Waldorf, Crazy Harry, and Mahna Mahna. Or will the variant come with the same...
I saw the first half of the episode. What I saw was good.
I kept thinking it would have been great if there was a triple date between Kermit and Denise, Fozzie and Becky, and Scooter and Chelsea.
Yeah, Marcie keeps talking about her crush on Charlie Brown to Peppermint Patty, including a comment that she hopes Charlie Brown asks him to the prom when they're older, and Peppermint Patty takes her to the hospital, thinking there;s something wrong with her (despite Patty having a crush on...
I've noticed how Peppermint Patty and Marcie both have crushes on Charlie Brown, yet Charlie Brown doesn't show much interest. It seems like he's annoyed by Peppermint Patty's affection, but is he oblivious to Marcie's? I feel like Marcie would be a better match for Charlie Brown than Peppermint...
Still, that's just a little footage showing him doing that (which could have been for any reason), no specific confirmation that he no longer does the puppeteering (though Caroll and Matt do have their own Big Bird costumes, if we only saw the one Matt used then that would confirm it).
Interestingly, regarding the involvement of the Schultz kids, I recently read that Charles Schultz was never able to buy the copyright back from United Features Syndicate, so it's not like they really needed the family to approve of the movie.
This was funny. I think the funniest part came at the end when everyone finds out that Big Bird is only 6. Not to mention when Big Bird mistakes one of the employees for Oscar, and someone points out that he lives in a trash can (I guess the implication is that he's homeless).
I think I saw...
This was a good commercial. I was expecting a giant crumpet character to appear.
After seeing several episodes of The Muppets in a row that don't feature characters who hadn't been on the show yet, and considering the fact that some characters won't appear, it is so good to see so many...
I saw one trailer for the new movie, which only showed the Chipettes in one scene. Didn't Dave end up taking them in in the second movie? I haven't seen the third.
Something tells me that the Chipmunks and Dave's fiancees kid will end up getting along and become okay with being step brothers...
I feel like there should have been another scene with Kristen Chenowith and the band, maybe them forgiving her and picking her up, or her catching up with them.
And they realize that they didn't have these problems until she showed up, but the issues are still there. I guess they forgot about...
I've noticed that in this movie, Patty's hair is blonde, when she's usually a brunette in color. Though when I was starting to be more interested in Peanuts around 1995, I saw her in some black and white pictures and assumed she was blonde. And I wonder what's up with that, her hair being brown...
I wonder what the pairing will be for series 2. It would make sense for Statler and Waldorf to be together, but I wonder if the rest will be one Swinetrek crew member with one of the others. It would be possible to do it that way. Or maybe two Swinetrek members while another is paired with a...
I saw the movie today. It was good. I thought it was odd that most of the movie takes place in the winter. I know, many strips do take place in the winter, and there have been a handful of non-Christmas specials that take place in winter, but it still seems a little odd (I wondered if they'd go...
