fighting law suits and such to have that happen... yeah i guess u could buy an Elmo for 5 million lol... for 5 million you could have your child visit the set of SS, or have Kevin CLash come to your house to preform for your child.
I too believe that shot was REALLY good. I've seen some that kinda turn me away. I didn't notice the difference about the frill (since i was more focused on his face and body size) and it kinda turns me away. I do however believe i shall be buying one at some point... ahem, anyone have one...
either or. Like i said. I dont know how it all works. I know theres carving and cutting... and somehow putting it all together. Any way, i'm a pure noob.
Thank you for telling me about the DVD. I'm debating on getting the book too. and that site has a two-pack deal on the book and...
well about the crazed insident... and no i'm not stickin up for myself as if i was there lol... is because, its a toy, as you have been saying, that children love to play with. Those are parents fighting to make their children happy. Its nuts, yes, but if you had a child that really wanted it...
hey, i'm becoming more intrested in working with foam too. I've made puppets out of other fabrics, but i want to try foam at some point. I have a few questions to ask.
-Was it easy workin with foam to make your first puppet? (also let me know if you've worked with foam before. I want to...
My nephew opened his gift the other day (my mom bought him the tickle me Elmo). And it was the toy of the party. ALL the adults were playing with him. To think that other adults don't play with toys no longer lingers in my mind.
Ok, so they were drunk too.
Hello,
Many of you around here have seen me (i'd assume) around the boards here. I've been doing some puppet building for a about over 2 years now, but all of its on my own. I have no idea how to do foam molds and such.. so yea, i don't know too much about how to work with foam...
I went to the store to buy some DVDs in the used section and found Myster Science Theatre 3000 the Movie for $59.99. Thinking this was a mistake, maybe it was 5.99 (the movie was made in the early 90s) i had them check it at the register. Sure enough, the tag was right. Even they were...
lol i have that same feeling... actually... when i heard about Gonzo, i decided i'll buy a Kermit... maybe not animal but def Gonzo and Kermit to go with him. If they make a Fozzie, i'd buy him too... but thats it i think...
Anyone else have an issue with their Elmo? Maybe it needs to be on FLATTER ground... but on my rug, he tips over when getting back up... (i tried my bed first but yea thats where i first noticed he tips back while gittin up).
He gets up WAY too fast i think.
I love how he "rolls around"...
just like Wal-mart and Target... they're making profit. Toys R Us's price is $39.99, where as Wal-Mart's is $34.88... Amazon.com has it for $100.... so even they are making profit. THey're getting them cheaper then you. So, really, its a buisness. If you want it, you have to buy it from the...
ITs a hott toy... hence the high price. Everyone wants it and the sellers pretty much bought one for people who didn't get it... only issue is... you have to show how much you want it pretty much.
yea, see... i couldn't think about a name for a person who will buy something thats worth alot... and sell it. So i took it as in a collector's perspective that will have something thats worth alot... a Selector? lol
I have one for my very own. And will be buying another one... or two to...
yeah, i rememebr youi and i talking about not bein able to find our favs. Around here its Gobo. I saw him at newburrys, but it looked bad. and Target, and thats when i bought him.
Eh, i can see alot of people are upset. But in the collector's point of view... this WILL be a rare toy once Christmas comes along. I bought one of the last 6, my mother bought two. One for my newphew... I bought him a little giggle ball with Elmo and Cookie's face on either side, i think hes...
This is crazy. I'm kickin myself for not buyin one today lol.
