Now this is my kind of thread because I'm a HUGE DVD Collector lol
Both Tape Trades and TV box sets galore. :)
But because I'm unemployed right now and still hunting for my first job in this bad economy, financial times have been tough. But I make sure I buy at least a new dvd set or two to...
YAH It's Funzos! lol (Refferening The Simpsons Parodies)
Yeah they were annoying although I heard they made a Gizmo from Gremlins Furby, I won't mind getting that. I LOVE Gremlins. But if they made the evil Gremlins like Stripe, I would totally buy it. lol CUSTOYUM YUM! lol
Does anyone have "The Boys / Girls of Rock & Roll from The Chipmuck Adventure (1987 Alvin and The Chipmunks animated movie)? Or The Tom & Jerry Kids Themes (opening and closing) or even all the versions of the Rocko's Modern Life theme in High Quality mp3? If so, send me an PM, thanks :)
Just remembered a late night apperance of Kermit on Leno where he was talking about frog mating session and effects on male frogs in the cold and Kermit gets nervious and says "I prefer not to talk about that." lol
Anyway like Vincent said, I guess things are going a bit off subject. Sorry...
Me and some fellow forum members were chatting about some late night Muppet apperances
http://www.muppetcentral.com/forum/threads/recycled-kermit.51893/page-2#post-905039
But since it was going a little off subject, I decided to create it's own discussion thread.
Anyway I just love The Muppets...
AMAZING VIDEO, Thank you for sharing. lol I was laughing like crazy. I've never seen that Joan Rivers apperance before, that was truely a great treat for me to see. Thanks again.
I just love The Muppets on late night being rebellious and saying things they never normally talk about. I think...
LOL Yeah exactly. I wish they did more of that. Bringing comedy back into Sesame Street. That was sort of the situation with Grover and Elmo singing a Telegram to Mr. Johnson. It could be under the Muppet Wiki Videos because I think it was the first time that Mr. Johnson's name ever came up in a...
I'm listening to "I'm Looking Through You" - The Muppet Ghosts from Season 1, Vincent Price, The Muppet Show.
And what I really like about The Muppet Show music and even 70s Sesame music from time to time was there was a lot of usage of Brass and Drums in the music. It's amazing. It kind of...
Probably my favorite Kermit & Piggy moment (And I need to get myself a copy of the full thing to this in a future Tape Trade) is some award show in 1979 where Kermit is about to read the rules thanking the academy of arts and scientists. Kermit is explaining that they are there to only read the...
LOL I liked how Miss Piggy mentioned that she get's plastic surgery. lol And how Kermit mentions that she's way too old to be around the Joanes Bros. lol
Actually that sounds familiar now, could have it been the WWE apperance? Or one of the Blue-Ray special features? I think I've seen that briefly and must have forgot about it. lol I remember Kermit said on one of the British specials either Best Ever Muppets or I Love Muppets where Kermit said...
Yeah, I'd like to check out some of the Super Grover 2.0, but I'm not sure if it's like the classic Super Grover skits from the 70s where Grover things he's being helpful but instead the other character figures things out for themselves. lol I didn't really care for the Global Grover stuff much...
HA HA HA, was this recent?
I remember back in the ol' Muppet Show days, (aka pre- Camilla) that Gonzo sort of had a thing for Piggy for a little bit. I think, was it the Dom Delluise episode where he goes up to her dressing room and told her "I'm not going to bother you anymore because I've...
Amazing the pig is attracted to that. Well I guess Piggy used to roll in the mud on her bumble days on the far...oh no here she comes (HIIIIIYAAAAH! OOOf!) lol :)
I wasn't sure where to post this because this applies to both The Muppet Show and the late 70s and 80s Sesame Street eras. And I'm not sure how to ask this...but I'll try by first saying that one of the things that I've always loved about The Muppet besides the fast zanny surreal slapstick...
Hmm Kermit's Swamp Years. I got to watch my DVD of that again. Haven't watched it in awhile.
Pros - An Idea of Kermit's humble begainings. Lots of awesome inside Jim Henson background gags not to mention see a young actor play Jim saying "hmmm" then a pan to The Henson's mailbox. I loved that...
Positive: Ernie and Bert's intro and interuptions. The only reason why it's still in my DVD collection. I'm a HUGE Ernie and Bert fan. :p:( Plus Dave Golez has a character cameo :)
Also I got to visit The Muppet Workshop back in 1998 and seen some of the puppets right before they started to film...
I just thought of some Sesame / Muppet mp3s that I'm looking for
Sesame
Anyone Got "Don't Eat The Pictures (Cookie and Cookie Angels and Instrumental Opening)
Singing Bell Hops (I think Chris Cerf was one of them)
Danger (Little Jerry)
Telephone Rock (Original and Album)
The Count Goes...
