When I had the VHS version years ago, I always thought that was the Muppet Show backstage cat. Oh what's his or her name, the kitty with the eye patch. Kathryn Mullen performed the character. Usually I don't necessary like to call a Muppet cute in a positive fashion, not even Bean Bunny. But...
I've written a similar talking about The Muppet Movie, though I felt that The Muppet Movie had a more deeper level in messages on following your dreams and with Caper it's a tribute to the golden age of crime films. It's even mentioned on the soundtrack I believe.
Like I mentioned in my previous...
I wonder where Janice's personality came from, did Richard Hunt ever say in any interview or document mention? When Richard were to perform a female character, she would sound like Gladys. And when he took over Janice, then this new voice came about and this laid back free spirit personality...
For some reason I've been thinking about Janice a little bit this week. And wondered that I don't think I've ever seen Janice kiss Floyd because they've always seemed like a couple to me. Then again she danced with Zoot and Dr. Teeth on the "At The Dance" sketches. Also in the alternative ending...
Jerry Juhl and Jack Burns wrote the movie right? Didn't Jack Burns get fired after season 1 of The Muppet Show? I thought I read something about that in Bernie Brillstine's book.
Just watched the alternative credits video. That was part of the extended version right? Yeah, the audio is really clear and I can hear the jokes better. Lew: Hey Sweetums, Wanda wants to meet you. Sweetums: Oh yeah? Well I would like to eat her too. (Sweetums eats the fish, Lew freaks out) lol...
lol I don't know. Man, I miss the Palisades figures. Those were the best. I think Disney is making the Star Wars / Muppet cross over figures and they slightly look like the Palisades figures but it's not the same. So much detail with the texture to make the skin look like fabric. Awesome. I...
I'm not sure if I mentioned but from reading that Tough Pigs article, the scene where Doc and Max crash into the word Meanwhile. lol I wish that was in the movie, that really cracked me up when I read it. lol :)
Hmm, it seemed bigger then the original Animal puppet plus it seemed like the giant Animal was more slow and stiff. But that's just what I've noticed. Also I think there's more detail in Animals hair when the wind is slightly blowing.
I always thought that he was one of the best designed Muppets ever, Gonzo also. Such a unique design. It's amazing how they carved the foam like that when they were built. Wasn't his last appearance The Muppet Christmas Carol? Oh wait, Mopatop Shop. They got rebuilt for that plus some of the...
I'm not sure, if that were to happen the editors would just mute the film soundtrack and remastered it with the audio recording before the production filming. Then again, you never know. Though it is cool to see both Jim's characters singing together, totally two separate soundtracks in order...
Oh yeah, I remember hearing that. lol I recognized their voices very quickly. In fact, I think I rewind (or whatever that option is called technically on DVDs when your rewinding to a few seconds back lol) just to analyze stuff. That's probably do to my nerdiness I suppose. lol I love DVD...
I was reading on the ol' Muppet Central FAQ that Jim was one of the bad guys in the western scene with Doc Hopper. I don't remember seeing this. Even Richard Hunt and Jerry Nelson at the El Sleezo Cafe. I did spot Frank Oz attacking Fozzie. lol Though I thought Jim was in the El Sleezo Cafe too...
LOL, well like I was mentioning in the begaining of this thread, like some of us if not most I was a Muppet fan since God knows when and I'm slowly getting the irreverent jokes and stuff within the dialog. lol
For this example, I'll explain. When I was a kid and even through out my youth, I...
Yeah Tim Hill, even though he also directed the CGI Alvin and The Chipmunks movies (shivers) I think the only good thing that I liked from the guy was KaBlam's Action League NOW! Those were really funny. They were knock-offs of famous toys like HeMan and Barbie and they get ran over by cars or...
Cool, thanks. I remember seeing on a couple of sites where they either sell copies or actual copies of Muppet Movie scripts (mainly movie script sites), some are rough drafts and some are the final draft. I'm still trying to find Jerry Juhl's original Muppets From Space script since I heard that...
What was up with the Myth joke, where the lady comes out and says "Yes?" I never got that? What was that referencing? And that Harry Pressingate thing? Is that like Frog Croak mating sounds or something like that? Both running gags, they look histarical but I don't funny get the gags just of...
Within the past couple of months, I've been discovering some of his hits possibly from the 60s like The Penguin, Watch Your Step and my new favorite My Fall Out Filly which I think is a part of an Atomic Bomb Cold War Song Album. So it seems like he had a little bit of a music career. I was...
