You too? It feels like the creators would rather ship them with anyone else but each other, with the way they handle it these days. But in the original series, I think they implied they were a "sort of" couple, if only because they were always dancing together or something :P I don't know...
Heh, I'm not a party person, either. If I'm not handing out candy, it'll just be me, a box of Halloween themed Oreos, and a lineup of TV specials and movies.
I'm starting to see displays for Christmas music. They're small right now, but they're there! Even if I bought one, it'd be at least a...
Ah OK, thank you :)
Squall Leonhart: Nope, I won't be buying this at all. Season 4 is all I want, so if I have to resort to buying it from another country to get it, I will!
To note, I have a few DVDs from the UK, and a number from Japan, and all play fine on my Region Free player. I got mine from YesAsia.com, so that might be a good place to find something :) If you don't want to go for that, I was also able to find a special, free program to put on my computer...
Anyone ever have their pumpkin destroyed or stolen? About two years ago I had a pumpkin where I drew a picture of Bender from Futurama. The kids who came to the house loved it, but I guess they loved it a bit too much - it went missing!
I'm going the online route, because I very rarely get to go to New York (I think I've only been there twice in my whole life) :) I can't wait to at least see what I can do! For now, I have to save up!
Hmm... where I was growing up, it rarely snowed (and if it did, it was only a few inches... NOTHING like the snow where I live now :P). Although it could get pretty chilly, so sometimes you had to put on a coat or put sweats under your costume, which DEFEATED the purpose of a costume in the...
Disney is all about the money, so if the kiddies love their Zac Efron and Miley Cyrus, it's mostly what we'll get until the next big thing comes along :( Sad but true!
Disney used to be a lot more "something for everyone" with their channel, but now it's dominated mostly by "tween" fare. I...
Awww... not even a pumpkin farm or patch? :( You should someday, if you can. It's all part of the Halloween experience for me.
Maybe it's a Midwest thing?
I absolutely love the old specials. It gives me a fuzzy, happy feeling of nostalgia when I see them. It's almost a "Things have changed, but at least I can count on this to be the same" thing for me. And when you recall how you were living or feeling as a kid watching this, it can definitely...
Definitely check it out! It still unnerves me even after all these years XD
Speaking of Nick, I swear there used to be a special they aired every year where Marc Summers and a group of kids found themselves in a creepy old mansion where the people inside did magic tricks and such. But I can't...
I finally saw it today. It was a definite improvement, I'll say that. Some of it still felt really awkward to me (maybe it was that Disney laugh track), but I liked it a lot more. If they keep improving on it I'll be super happy :D
I thought Clifford was created specifically for MT, I didn't know he was on the Henson Hour. So that's why it would be hard for me to think of him as "classic" - he is cool, though :)
Anybody ever watch this special as a kid? It was always guaranteed to get me in the mood. Sadly, they don't air it anymore, and I can't find the tape my dad recorded it on:

I remember that some people dressed up for school up to when I was in high school, but that pretty much stopped when I was in college. Some people dress up to hand out candy, and that's fine, too! Makes things more fun.
