Honestly, I can imagine Herry getting a storyline about himself, considering that Peter is slowly but surely bringing him back into the spotlight. As for Granny Fanny? She wasn't as well-known, so I definitely don't see her getting a storyline of some kind.

I recall him mentioning that he officially planned on retiring after the show's 50th, and wouldn't you know it? He managed to accomplish that phase! Like most people, I knew he would eventually be at the point where he'd be ready for retirement, and I'm thoroughly amazed that he made it...

I think that's a great idea, but at this point, we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Well, you never know. Next year is the show's 50th anniversary, so maybe (JUST MAYBE) SW will pull out the big guns and...I'm sure you can imagine what I'm getting at. But we won't know until then.

Considering how a lot of the original cast members have stated that Christmas Eve on Sesame Street is one of their favorite moments from the show's almost 50 year history, I think it would be neat if they could not only release a 40th anniversary edition of the DVD, but also include interviews...

As far as the local networks go...obviously we don't know if they'll be involved, but I've been thinking: if ABC will have the rights to broadcast something, this would be a superb opportunity to re-air Out to Lunch, perhaps in honor of SW also having celebrating their 50th?

They must be- a lot of them have a quote or two from the episode scenes.
