Oh I bought the Edward Scissorhands of Mez-its years ago, I wasn't really thinking about collecting block figures, I was at the time just wanted it cause I love that movie. Now I'm looking at it and re-loving it, :D, I really like the Vincent Price one, awesome, just awesome.
Hmm that's a pretty good question, but I'm thinking no, cause any collectable is only worth as much as people are willing to pay for them, and I'm thinking people would rather have the one with the correct spelling. Plus there seems to be a lot of them produced so I'm thinking no.
Yeah but I don't think they're losing that much money, I mean since Disney bought the Muppets, which that alone must've brought in a ton of cash, they've been putting out a ton of stuff of what they still have, such as Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Fraggle Rock ect, which must be making some pretty...
And if you really wanna split hairs The Muppet movie isn't the only "kid" (at least in the mind of the truth people) movie to feature a little, very little, smoking. I was wacthing Ratioutee (I'm sure I didn't spell that right) and I'm pretty sure I saw that one guy who clams he "killed a man...
That's cool frogboy, can't wait to see that Beaker one.
I might want to do like a whole Disney group including the Muppets and Nightmare Before Christmas in there of Kubricks I just think that would look pretty cool, some cost a ton of money ;)
Well what games do you have? Although like I said I haven't been playing a lot of it lately. Didn't you say you have Super Mario Bros, I have that as well, I already beaten it though
I see what you mean but from a legal stand point that doesn't add up to a hill of beans.
But Jim Henson and the Muppeteers will always be the ones to bring them to life true and I don't think Disney really has done anything to make it seem different,
I see what you mean, but that kind of humor does speak to some people. Look I think Family Guy is some awful writing with no real thought, but the fact is it's a very popular show cause it does speak to many people and it may not be enjoyable to you, but that doesn't mean other's don't enjoy it...
I see what you're saying, but here's the thing about that, it is just a cheap laugh, I mean yes Robot Chicken killed Animal for a cheap laugh, you're right. But is Animal really dead, if that's what bugging you, no not at all.
As mention this post is mainly about a commerical that made it...
Well we're getting a little off-topic from what this post is about,
But let me say this one more thing, you said you don't like Mickey Mouse being in artwork he's in right now, but are they doing anything to change the character himself? As mention you wanted these characters to stay beloved...
The sad truth really is, that althoght Muppets, Looney Tunes, and Mickey Mouse and Co will always and I mean always be beloved icons, what you're saying about Mickey being trapped in Dora like framework, is really just bussiness. I mean they are always going to go with what's hot now, that's the...
Again we're all fans here, and I see what you're saying. But don't you see that by people taking the time to make fun of the Muppets that they are memorable and always will be, they are beloved icons of the world, which is way they are being made fun of. They are still great characters they do...
