That is so strange that you posted that Muppet Treasure Island clip. So Ironic, I walked away from a computer for a little bit to get a drink and I was thinking of that very scene from Muppet Treasure Island and just how funny the talking mug is and how it relates to Muppet Humor how anything...
That is really cool! :) Thanks for posting! :)
Though the one with Nigel I didn't remember seeing. Must have been footage that was cut from the US airing. I remember noticing that a lot of the episodes had extra UK spots and gags edited for time in the US airings, like The Muppet Show.
Sorry I meant that it's a discussion for another thread. I wish I could edit that. DARN!
Anyway,
Speaking of Frank, is he still directing movies? Latest thing I've notice was that he was promoting the Little Shop of Horrors Blu-Ray on The Colbert Report.
I can totally tell that's Kevin performing Miss Piggy, really great timing and performing. The Animal clip is hard to tell. I know that both is Frank's voices.
Anyway, thanks for posting those clips. I MISS MUPPETS TONIGHT! GREAT SHOW! I want Disney to release the complete series on DVD and...
Nine years huh? Where do I begin? lol
All I'm going to say is, there was some good things that came out like The Muppets (2011), From The Balcony (Not sure if that was during the Disney deal or not but that was my favorite that came out of the Disney deal). But to just simply put my opinion on...
Yeah I remember Kevin performing Waldorf for a few episodes. But like I mentioned the Sandra Bullock episode is the only episode that I know of that Kevin's voice of Animal can be heard. I've heard this Sam the Eagle in It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie (Wow, that was a weird few years...
Really, because that was Frank's voice for A Lot of Coffee In Brazil. For Dancing in the Dark I think that was Frank too but I could be wrong, I got to see that clip again. But yeah, Kevin probably performed the characters and either Frank Dubbed the voices or recorded them previously or...
Probably written by people who never seen the Liza Minnelli episode. lol I wonder if these people are going to get caught for copyright infringement. Or maybe they'll defend it calling it a parody or something. Are they going to be using parody puppets or costumes or Muppet merchandise puppets...
I remember Kevin doing the voice of Animal in the Sandra Bullock episode where he is told to stop drumming and he says sorry. But I don't remember Kevin's voicing Animal in any other episode or even Miss Piggy (except for some behind the scenes footage of Kermit's sword fight from Muppet...
I'm a little confused on what you mean. In general I agree, I've seen this really cool Kermit figure in 2010 that was 12 itches tall with a rubber or fabricated collar. I'd love to have that on my desk someday. :)
I hope I didn't seem hyper critical in my post. I apologize if there was any...
I think Disney needs to revive somehow The Muppet action figures like Palisades quality, The Muppet Replicas, even something on the lines of the Fisher Price quality. I feel the Muppet merchandise from the 70s and 80s with the exception of the Palisades figures, Muppet replicas of course) were...
I'm writing to the Walt Disney Company once a week by mail to help get the interest of the classic Muppets (The Muppet Show and Specials) onto DVD. Even iTunes, I'd love to get The Muppet Show episodes on my ipod, I already bought the movies for it. They just need to release Muppet Treasure...
Yes Dinosaurs is definitely more darker then Fraggle Rock. Fraggle Rock was aimed towards Children / Family with the message of harmony towards the world no matter the differences of the characters. Though Dinosaurs was a satire towards humanity. During Jim's final work like on The Jim Henson...
Yes, it's a very dark ending to the series but it kind of makes sense in a way. Dinosaurs lived dysfunctional and destroying the environment and then it's too late. It's very good satire. :) I remember Howard Handupme on screen saying how the weather of extreme cold would be a sign of the likely...
I'm not sure, I remember the episode what I was mentioning was when Robbie gets eaten and then Earl gets eaten afterwords. And Philo and Gunge (I just looked up their names on Muppet wiki, where their names ever mentioned on Fraggle Rock? )where on there but with glass eyes and not their...
LOL That's funny. I love it. ha ha ha, Best remark to my mis-spelling. lol
But yeah, I wish Kenan and Kel were back together doing slapstick films. They were like the modern day 90s version of the vaudeville straight man and comic team. That's so rare today. Even Kenan and Kel on All That and...
I remember that episode, the one where he runs away from the Trash Heap and the Doozers' think he's the accent leader of the Doozers. Didn't those two characters later get recycled for a Dinosaurs episode? The one where Robbie gets eaten by the green monster from The Monster Maker mini movie...
