Chahlee, Gary, and Chris are The Fruppets.

Chris' nose is a scored and folded piece of "record album cardboard" covered in fleece. I secured it with spray adhesive before sewing it. The orange guy's body is literally just a tube of shert foam (of course modified here and there to give it a little roundness.

My Fraggles... Let Me Show You Them.

I personally use sheet foam and fleece for abdomens. No wires in boober; just used pins for posing.

Let me know if you find a better way to do Boober's body. This is before he was finished; I made him for a friend. This is all I was able to find for mine:

    Name my Fruppet!

Yeah, originally I was thinking of making his character an (unsaid) uncle to Elmo named Uncle Elmer. He would be the typical loser uncle (we all have one). Maybe an alcoholic or an implied addict. I am also wondering if I should change his nose to purple or blue and giving him more hair. Can't...

    Name my Fruppet!

So I decided that his name is Charlie--pronounced "Chah-lee." I gave him a gravely and enthusiastic voice. Let me know what you think! And for a video:

My Fraggles... Let Me Show You Them.

They look great!! If I may offer some constructive criticism, I found that when I used fabric for the tongue, it looked a bit "homely." I found that using a stiff felt for the mouth-plate cover AND for the tongue looks great! This is not the best picture, but you can see what I mean.

    Name my Fruppet!

I built this guy last night. Unfortunately, I feel as if he looks too similar to Elmo so I am having a hard time developing his persona. Shoot me some name ideas and maybe voice ideas (deep, high pitch, gravelly, etc.). Thanks!!! Ryan

Help Making Bert and Ernie Puppet Noses

Thank you so much. I have one original known as Hector (the name may change upon completion.) I can't decide if he should have a mustache and hair (picture 2) or bald with no mustache (picture 1). I am open to suggestion. I have yet to permanently attach his features, but anyway, here is a pic:

Help Making Bert and Ernie Puppet Noses

Thanks KumaKami! I think he will be my final replica. I am starting my own show and it is original characters from here on out....at least for a while:(

    Sesame Street's "Bert" style puppet

It is not to scale though. You will need to adjust the sizes of darts and such to make it work.
