What if TMS happened earlier than it did? Say 1972 or the sixties(when Jim had the concept for it)
Would characters like Fozzie and Piggy still be in it? And what if it was picked up by the American networks(who have turned them down because they thought of them as "kiddie entertainment") and...
Here's my list of celebs who should have appeared on TMS:
Eric Idle(I know John Cleese has been on the show already, but it would have been cool to see the entire Monty Python troupe as guest stars)
Benny Hill(think about it...at the end of the episode, instead of the usual TMS...
I love Sesame Street, but yes, I have to admit that there are some parts of the show that bug me. Around the 90s, there have been segments and characters that get on my nerves. Characters who were too goody-goody(ie: Natasha, Baby Bear, etc)...segments like Hero Guy, Monster Clubhouse...I was...
Nowadays when I listen to it, it's been having interuptions(it starts, then stops then starts and so on). It says that you can sign up to hear it w/o interuptions. I'm thinking about signing up, but is it free?
Here's some more Muppet dreams I've had:
*Rare clip from Sam and Friends(black and white) where a constable's face is shown on screen(similar to how the "Limbo" character works) and there's an animated fly buzzing around and his eyes are following it everywhere he went until his pants fall...
The ones I know of are:
*Do De Rubber Duck
*I'm Sad Because I'm Happy
*Game show with Guy Smiley(he was there with some old lady...something about an old cloth?)
Also, there was an insert from 1969 that had him, along with Bert, Cookie, the purple monster from the "Monster Father and...

I am sorry but I am going to start this again. The Muppet Show was not a Children's Show. It was a Show that kids had a certain attraction to. With alot of the humor on the Muppet Show, it was not and can not be classified as a Children's Show.
True. Plus, he originally wanted to do it for...
I think this is really great news.
But one thing Im wondering about: how many episodes per season did they make each year?
Mostly, I would like to see more clips of the orange Oscar. :grouchy:
I would like to see music videos that mix muppet clips with non-muppet ones:(you can see a lot of those there, most of them are anime ones)
*All I Really Want is One More Day(Eiffel 65)-The Jim Henson Hour
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Cv00oaJLJ4&search=eiffel%2065
*The...
I don't know if any of you have known this, but there used to be a Sesame Street Workshop store in Japan(and it was there until about oh say 2003-2004). It was really great. The store even carried some other merch brands like the claycartoon penguin Pingu. Even seen some Muppet stuff there. They...
It's kinda hard to descirbe how they(comics and kids' magazine) were drawn. Not in anime style, but it's basically the same illustration seen on Japanese products around the early 90s(I know when I see them). Unfortunately, I do not have those two comics OR the other magazines anymore. *Darn*...
Medicom(and Sanrio I believe as the sticker is seen on the box) has produced another line of Sesame Street kubricks, this time with Elmo and Oscar in diferent colors. And get this, one of the Oscars is orange just like in the first season.
They're out now and you can see the pictures at the...
Yeah that was freaky, I remember Oscar as orange, that was so weird!
Yeah. I remember having a SS brochure/guide from Japan years ago, and I've noticed that there was a picture of Susan with the CTW logo and Oscar holding the SS logo from 1969. I actually thought it was another grouch in his...
I'm guessing that it's going to be the Sesame Street action figures(Ernie, Oscar, Two-Headed Monster, Guy Smiley and Grover, plus some other characters like Bert and Big Bird, whose prototype figure I have seen) from Palisades(speaking of which, whatever happened to it? I have not heard another...
I think I might know about this as well(and the other one you posted). This was from the 90s right? Because as far as I know, thats when WB owned DC comics.
This sounds very interesting. Where did you hear about this, and which characters are going to be in it?
I've never seen the show, but I have been hearing about it(mainly about the skit with the "Behind the Music" documentary on the Electric Mayhem)and I've seen the Scooby-Doo parody from...
Characters from The Simpsons who remind me of Muppets:
Homer: Cookie Monster(both have big appetites)
Oscar the Grouch(they both have some sort of anger problem)
Link Hogthrob
Marge: Bert
Kermit
Lenny and Carl: Gonzo and Rizzo(?)
Moe: Oscar the Grouch...
