News Flash Skits
Anoyone know where to find these classic gems with Kermit?
"Hey look its a Fog!.... Hey Maaaa!!!"
-Children from the Show (Sesame Street News Flash)
Watched SS today, and found the music used in two spots sounded real good.
The first one is for the letter "M" with the Astronaut on the moon segment.
The other one, was a real trippy soundning music during Elmo's World
when Dorathy imagined Elmo walking on the moon (Elmo's World with...
"Hay you rides!!!"
Okay bad pun (and showing my age), but due to the approaching storm bearing down on Sesame Place, I was unable to get to enjoy the hay ride.
But from what the staff memeber told me, it was a fiteen minute trip and a story was read to you . The character joining us on this...
Waterloo - Couldn't escape if I wanted to
All water rides were on except for The Count's Font, that was turned into
his Castle Maze (he is at the top of the font waiting to greet you).
Although it was in the 60s, few brave souls did take on the water rides. But
they were shivering blue...
I had some great family time this weekend, and headed to Sesame Place for the "The Counts' Halloween Spooktacular". Here is what your in for if you plan on going:
* Scavenger Hunt - Eight questions lead you to treats and a meeting with The Count!
Treats Include: Juice Box (Elmo), Peanut...
..catchy song
Yes that is a catchy song, they sing that during the "Big Bird Beach Party"
at Sesame Place.
What cracks me up is the small man (muppet) w/glasses sings so deep
and loud.
Anyone know where to find the song?
Thanks,
That would explain things
I thought SS went back to the 80s, but after reading this thread found
that they went back to 2001.
Its good too see SS going back to show some older episodes even if it is
a few years old.
I missed this SS 'Mini-Series' when it originally aired. Hopefully...
Potato Chips
Cookie was originally designed as a monster for a potato chip commercial,
according to the 'Sesame Street Unpaved' book.
Anyone have that commercial where Cookie eats the IBM system?
Thanks,
Ala Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches!

Track 4 - 'Mah Na Mah Na' - Leroy Holmes
Oh yeah
It hit me after I posted..
The shape land I saw... Telly is inside the triangle.
Not sure of the Jungle or Things that grow.
I did see this morning where they are in the Snow..I only saw that
twice and that was in bits and pieces. So I have not grown tired of
that one yet. ;)
Lounge Version Found
Over at Amazon while doing some searching for music, I found on the
album "Ultra-Lounge, Vol. 18: Bottoms Up", a 'Mah Na Mah Na' lounge
version.
So dig your Leopard Print lounging jacket and enjoy a Tookie-Tookie
on the rocks... while you listen to the smooth swinging...
Watched the JTE ("Beach") today, and last Friday, and then last Monday.
UGH!.. Anyone know if there are new ones in the works, so far over the
last month they have played:
JTE - Beach
JTE - Playground
JTE - Farm
JTE - Music Land
JTE - Little Bo Peep
JTBB - Circus
And they just...
Just need to verify what they have in stock
The matter is how far does SW go back for episodes?
And... a list (w/ mini description) of the episodes they offer.
Example:
"Grover Waiter (Burger)" - Grover deliveres various size burgers to Fat Blue.
Don Music appeared in the mid to late 70's. I remeber it pretty clearly, it was
a Muppet News Flash, and Don was at his piano with a bust of Beethoven on top of it.
Later in the 80's he made another attempt of banging his head against a desk as Thomas Jefferson writting the The Declaration...
