I think John T was in training but im not sure According to IMDB, it said he performed Oscar in "Sesame Street 4-D". Which I saw three years ago, but unfortunately it was all dubbed in Japanese so I couldn't tell.

They were also together in a scene from 1971, where Grover was standing in the window of Gordon and Susan's apartment, and Gordon (Matt Robinson) had a measuring stick.

I NEVER trust Wikipedia or Answers.com. For stuff like word definitions, science, world history and whatnot, okay. But not for other stuff like...well...I'll know it when I see it. Like they say, "You can't always believe everything you hear or read". Especially on the internet.

I don't understand this "adapting classic TV shows into movies for the new generation" thing at all. Why do they need to do this?

Actually, Ernie AND Bert are very popular in Germany. You'll see them on almost every merchandise. Read one of the Tough Pigs anthologies (the one focused on Ernie and Bert), and you'll see what I mean. Big Bird, Cookie Monster and Elmo are popular in Japan, although my mother once said it went...

What shows do I think have overstayed their welcome? Let me think... Well, pretty much any of the "new big wave" stuff (or: obnoxious fads as I like to call them) :grouchy:

I too remember the Underdog cartoons. But it's been years. I especially remember Tenessee Tuxedo and the walrus.
