The first season of Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries is released and that's it. Let's not forgot about Smurfs too. The sitcom Family Matters is getting a DVD release too, the complete 1st season, but I'm going to bet that maybe after a second season release, that's all we'll get.
I'm glad the...
Last cheap of CDs I bought (I don't buy too many anymore, since I just get MP3s now. But still buy a lot of DVDs, just check out the Last DVD thread) was...
Princess and the Frog Soundtrack- Laugh at me if you want, but I enjoyed these songs. Especially "Friends on the Other Side" which Keith...
I've bought quite a few DVDs since the last time I posted. They're starting to get really cheap, :), well not all of them, but I mostly buy used. Away I got...
Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame- Because I'm collecting the Disney movies, and I needed to "rebuy" this one. Plus I got my DMR points...
I guess since they were only given out to cast and crew members of Muppets Tonight, I guess it's safe to say that they are indeed a pretty rare item. Awesome find.
Again that might have something to do with that face that it was only given out to the cast and crew of Muppets Tonight and...
Since you said it's out of the box, you wouldn't be looking at too much for the puppet. If you were to try and sell it on ebay, I would say if you got 40 to 50 dollars you should consider yourself lucky. I've looked on ebay for one in it's original box and I did indeed find one. I kept bidding...
No not really much Bobo merchandise, sorry. I think Palisades was planning on making a Bobo figure as part of the series 12 or 13, maybe even 14 of there still amazing Muppets line. But as we know Palisades lost the Muppets lincense before that figure could see the light of day.
All I'll say is...Anytime Muppet footage makes it to DVD, I think it's great. I wonder if this would get a Blu-Ray release as well? These aren't on the top of my DVD want list, but maybe if I have extra cash or I found them really cheap. I sometimes kick myself whenever I found (and still find...
I'm picking up that Cloud Forest DVD myself. I'm not totally 100% on the Animal Show, but we'll see. But yeah, I've only seen a very very tiny bit of Cloud Forest from "The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson" when that little frog sings, always thought it looked neat.
Yeah that's the case with me as well and I actually have a copy of Alice in Wonderland as well as "Though the Looking Glass." At least I was able to read "The Wizard of Oz."
Anyhow, I do LOVE the Disney animated classic. Though it may not be 100% true to the original story.
Man since it's actually been awhile since I post ANYTHING on this fourm, sadly. I've bought a ton of DVDs. But here's the list, as it were...
My Neighbor Totoro- To be honest, I'm a newer fan of Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's work, but I've enjoyed and totally LOVED anything I've seen so...
I have almost too much to post, but I'll give it a go (of course I'm just going to do season sets of TV shows in my collection, not like box set of movies or golden age cartoons), some of these aren't "season sets," but I figured I'll count them anyway. let's see...
The Muppet Show-Seasons 1-3...
I've bought these though ebay...
Frank and Ollie (Special Edition)- A documenty of two top Disney animators. Thought it looked really interesting, so I looked for it on ebay and bought it. I haven't watched it yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
Walt Disney Treasures: Mickey Mouse in Living...
That's the main reason I've been buying DVDs, :). Anyway I got..
Dreamworks' Chicken Run-I've seen bits of this movie and it looks pretty good, the main reason though is cause Wal-Mart had it brand new for only 5 bucks. Figured why not?
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (80s series): Season 8-For...
I guess the best thread I ever started was the "What was the Last DVD you Bought and Why?" thread in terms of most post counts.
In terms of ones that I was personally happy with, I was happy about discussing Nickeldoen buying out the TMNT as well as the "Turtles Forever" thread, I was happy...
See I think if one were to make a list of "worst Muppets" than they should consider characters that added nothing to the story and nothing to the Muppet gang be it Muppet show, Fraggle Rock or Sesame Street. A true "worst" list I would image features the likes of Dexter from Sesame Street (the...
Honestly if you were to buy Disney movies based on how accurate they are, than you wouldn't have bought Hunchback of Notre Dame nor Pocahontas, :).
As for me well I finished up my Hannah Barbara Tom and Jerry shorts (minus the two or so that are sadly missing, :sympathy: from the set) and...
