Congratulations and good luck!
Hope it all goes quickly and smoothly (my daughter arrived three weeks after the contractions started-- but that is one of those bizarre things that only happens to me)!
Let us know when he arrives!!
I was looking around the Sesame Workshop website yesterday and came upon a great Sesame Street Alphabet. Each block letter has a Muppet (or two) sitting on or leaning against it. They are meant to be printed out for kids to color. Here's the link...
It's good to know I don't have the only child who puts Kermit first in her priorities!
We went to the mall tour of Play with Me Sesame a week or so ago and it was great! She danced to the classic Sesame Street songs before the show started and was thrilled when Ernie and Bert and Grover came...
We just started getting Noggin the week before Play with Me premiered-- great timing for us!
My 23 month old loves it! She doesn't play along with all the games, but she is getting into Ernie Says and, of course, Move and Groove with Grover. Sometimes I'll find her singing one of the songs...
Hi!
I know there are some people who just had a baby and others with kids here and I was wondering how many of us are raising 2nd generation Muppet fans.
My daughter is almost two and adores the "Muppies" as she calls them.
So, who else has kids?
There is only one exclusive at the con. The Dr. Teeth repaint.
The Kermit figure is the regular Kermit-- just packaged differently. And it will not be for sale at the con. It will be given away at an invitation only industry party.
Email Palisades (the correct email address is in...
Okay, it seems like in the hoopla over the new forum and the Palisades figure updates, Phillip and Cindy's Fanatical Friday is kind of getting over looked. I can't believe only three of us saw it. So where are all the pats on the back for our fearless leaders?
Let's here it for Phillip...
err Sorry about that color choice last time. I was unfamiliar with the color name and thought I'd give it a try but I don't think it shows up very well.
Cindy
Give us a little time, I think we'll all adjust to our new home just fine. I bet in a few months we won't be able to imagine going back to the old system!
I'm sure this has meant a huge amount of work for you and Phillip-- thanks for taking the time to make the move go so well for...
I'm still sorting out all these features. At least I finally have an image connected to me.
I haven't figured out how to intersperse smileys in the midst of my text yet....
And let me just try out this quote thing and see if I can make it work
I thought someone posted on the old forum that they got an email from Time-Life saying they would not be doing any more Muppet anythings. Was that just part of a nightmare?
Pushed up?!
Really? Things can be pushed up? Wow-- amazing new concept.
Seriously, I doubt it. I expect IMDB has out-dated information (wouldn't be the first time).
And Scott-- you're being awfully prolific here in our new home-- don't think I've come across a thread today that...
Haven't seen Sesame Street Live but I did see the Play with Me Sesame mall tour and there was an actor interacting with the Muppets in that. It worked pretty well and helped connect the Bert and Ernie segments with the Grover segment. The actor was also able to get down into the audience and...
My two cents worth:
I'd prefer Thog to Doglion too.
Rowlf definitely needs a bench! Pianos come with benches.
Dr. Teeth is fine without a bench-- I've never seen anyone sit at keyboards in concert. But pianists always sit-- at least that's my experience.
