I read that it was asked from Disney execs to Jason Segal, "What scene in the movie would make the best ride?" or something along those lines, but Segal (rightfully so) wasn't really thinking about that while writing the movie.
Well, like I said at the end of the day, I really enjoyed the movie and it's got a 98% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes (last time I looked anyway), so the movie is doing something right regardless if one guy likes it or not. But again, that's his opinion, though I do whole heartly disagree...
It's an official flim poster and all flim posters are suppose to be 27x40, which this the Muppets movie poster indeed is.
They also have a Kermit beanie, which is kind of cool, but I'm still going to hold out.
Well even though this didn't require any actual "work" on their part, they also lent out the Jim Henson studios so it can be rebuild as "Muppet studios" in the movie.
You know, it's a different view from my original post but that was more than a year ago, but honestly, I don't know, I don't find those that impressive. I mean nothing against Jim Shore and all, but they're just not doing much for me.
They even do have them on the "Disney Movie Rewards" website...
You know RedPiggy, I do have to agree with you on that. Plus (I don't want to give away too much here) but in this movie, it was the first time I've ever seen Animal have a little character development, EVER.
Do you guys mean the DVD being out for christmas of this year? Cause considering how much of a hit this movie is turning out to be, I'm going to say, no it's not going to be out that soon. Heck even if this movie did turn into a bomb I don't think it would be out that quickly.
You know I have to ask, why are people making such a big deal of Frank's opinion of this movie? I mean of course he one of the original master minds behind what made the Muppets so successful in the day and NO I'm not saying no one should have listened to him if he was indeed giving advice on...
Loved the movie, thought it was amazing. Took a friend of mine to see it and she was super happy I took her, ;):). But no it was such a fun night, I'll actually probably see it again on sunday, honestly.
I don't know about that, people are still into buying the movies themselves. Now a days, even when a movie bombs at the box office, they still make good movie though home video releases.
We got Muppets from Space toys from Wendys...

Nothing too great though..
I do have a Fozzie and Piggy of these UK Happy Meal toys, my mother gave me this a stocking stuffers years ago, still in their bags. Though I would love that...
Maybe they could do a little feature on the Muppets popularity or rise to fame with bits of existing material, but stuff like past TV specials, I don't see it. Truthfully, I won't get my hopes up for much in terms of bonus features for the DVD. Have you bought Disney DVDs lately? They don't even...
You know I have to say...I'm starting to think that some of you guys are expecting a little too much with Muppet merch. I mean there has been a couple mentions of maybe doing a new action figure line of Muppets and I'll tell you right now, that ain't happening. Sorry, but this movie isn't going...
It was actually from the movie, a "sneak peek" actually. Poogy was interacting with Piggy, I don't remember it word for word though (don't really want to right now since I plan on seeing the movie, :)). But Poogy said to Piggy "You've been replaced," and a chop to Poogy.
I know I'm late on this, but I also rather enjoyed Animal and Ok Go on the Tonight show. Even though I've lost quite a bit of respect for Jay Leno and I actually use to be a fan of his. Let's face it, when he's gone (and I mean for real totally gone) he's not going to get the send off Johnny...
