Matleo
Thanks! I got a little time to work on him today and that's what I did-- in through the under belly. (There's a little pointy tail at the butt.) Now I just have to cover and attach the shell.....
Thanks!!! I'm glad everyone likes it! Just don't look too closely at Grover's book (it says 'Superheo' instead of 'Superhero')
EmmyMik--
Well, given that the quilt hangs on the wall in my daughter's playroom you probably wouldn't be too comfortable. Plus, you'd get stuck reading "Elmo's...
Hello--
I posted about this on the old forum, but I'm still working on the turtle puppet and could use some input from more experienced builders. (This is my first attempt at a foam puppet.) I am making this guy for my husband and it will be his first puppet.
The turtle works kind of...
I'm still looking for them as well (let's not get into a bidding war at eBay!) but I've seen a plush made from the Sprocket pattern and it was great!!
If I find any, I'll post here.....
I've added pictures of my latest quilt-- a Sesame Street quilt-- to my web page. If you have a minute to check it out, I'd love to hear what people think.
Zoe and Prairie Dawn could use a little work, and I accidentally put Telly's mouth on upside down, which is why it looks a bit off...
Could someone post email and snail mail addresses so we know where to send out requests?
I think the odds of getting a lot of people to request widescreen versions goes way up if it is relatively easy to find the necessary information....
Thanks
Where does the $50-60 figure come from? Is that a guess, based on similar Sideshow merchandise or does someone have some inside information?
I definitely want them all-- big surprise. But I can't really say what I will or will not buy without cost info. (A shipping date would be good...
Welcome Miles!!!
Congratulations to all three of you!
Hope you get some rest and have nice thoughtful friends and family who will stop by with hot meals, do your dishes for you, and leave you alone to get aquainted with your new son.
Enjoy!

Great Mahna Mahna accessories! The triangle and music stand are a must, if we get this character.
Of course I want Pepe and Clifford as well....
Ken-- can't we just continue the line until you've made every minor character and done a Piggy for every outfit she's ever warn...
Finally got my PBToys order with Bunson and Beeker (placed the order in December-- but that's a different story) and Pepe is on the side of the box! In the little squares where the other Igel plushes are pictured (Gonzo, Kermit, Piggy, etc.) there is a Pepe in a red sweater (might be a...
I certainly did not mean Miss Piggy! I was refering to an entirely different evil purple thing. Errr.... Wait, that didn't come out right! Oh no-- I'm gunna get karate chopped......
Miss Piggy is not evil!
I meant the stupid foam costume character that, at least on my local PBS...
Frogboy
It's okay! Actually, you aren't the first. I think Iggy was the first in a different thread. (Sesame Letters, I think). So at worst you're the second -- still, I'm all for avoiding Teletubbie references (and let's not even get started on the evil purple thing)
Frogboy
Actually, I am quite aware of the line and the specifics of each wave and the changes and possible changes Ken has shared. I never said Thog would be a bad choice. In fact, I've posted a couple of times in favor of Thog. I want Thog. I definitely want Thog more than Doglion...
While I would like Thog, I don't think the pink sweater with the heart on it would suddenly create a huge appeal among young girls. First-- there are tons of things marketed to girls in pink with hearts-- not like a kid has to try to find something pink with hearts. Second, I think the market...
Don't have Billy Bunny, but we do have the sing-along. I don't know what she thinks about all those other frog noises. But she does have a pair of green pajamas she calls Kermit. They were on a shelf above her changing table and she kept pointing at them saying 'Kermie Kermie.' When I pulled...
Creation Contact
When I went to email Creation, I couldn't find a good address. All the email addresses listed on their site were really specific (tickets, fan club kids, order status). So I'm going with an actual letter. It takes more effort, but it also shows more committment. So, if...
Scarecroe
That bugs me. I assume it has to do with the complext licensing agreements surrounding Kermit-- since he is a Muppet-Muppet and a Sesame Muppet. But you'd think they could sort it out. I was rather disapointed to find Kingston on the K page. Kingston is nice and it is great to...
Scott
Yeah, I thought your explanation worked, but since it came up again I figured I'd clarify. Besides, I had a lot of fun with generational theory in grad school....
I am so jealous of your trip to Sesame Place! We're gunna go, but it will be next year or the year after.
And...
Here's what I meant by first and second generation fan-- it had nothing to do with age or when in the Muppet time line you were born.
First generation-- you love the Muppets but your parents weren't fans. You are the first generation of Muppet fan(s) in your family.
Second generation--...
