So many different pieces of apparel from decades past are often attempted to be marketed to people again in more modern times... I remember when I was a kid, some time in the mid-to-late 90s, Old Navy (I think) tried to bring bellbottoms back, only they called them "Flairs", or something...
Well, yeah, I know all that, and I guess, in retrospect, it would make sense as to why it's always her mommy she talks about, talks to on her cellwand, among other things. I think it's probably because she's such a major part of the Muppet cast, that it seems like choosing her to try to tackle...
That's what I thought about Regular Show when it first came out, but Drtooth swears otherwise.
And I don't see any similarities in the humor of Rocko and SpongeBob: I know SpongeBob was created by a former Rocko writer, but the humor of Rocko was more cereberal and edgy (for a kid's show)...
Again, I think you guys have the wrong rant thread, this thread is my rants about set backs and lackluster results with my own work and creativity.
Like now, for instance: thanks to YouTube screwing up the homepage big time, stats indicate that only FOUR of my subscribers have actually seen...
This should be most interesting... though, for some reason, I feel that using Abby might be a bit of a cop out, I don't know why.
But still, it would be interesting how this will play out.
I wonder if they'll also try to tackle nightmares again; I know Caroll once said that another show they...
I don't get it... why is it some of the characters are portrayed by people in costumes and makeup, while other characters are puppets? It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
I wanted to like this show... I REALLY wanted to like this show, but I didn't. It's almost kind of like how Drtooth has pointed out, many times before, Camp Lazlo pretty much only served as a reminder that Rocko was gone.
Not only that, but it too fell victim to CN's overhype... at the time...
I certainly am glad that so far, with every new vid that SST posts on YT with Elmo, that they haven't been bombarded with a bunch of trolls trying to have a field day over Kevin's issue right now, that's a relief... you'd think trolls would be relishing in this right now.
HAW-HAW huh-huh-huh!!!
Don't sweat it Slackbot, I've been on the receiving end of worse... one time, my own niece just flat-out said to Steve, "You're the most hideous thing I've ever seen!"
It's been that way, even with the kids... remember, during the ATC era of the show, we had Carlo, Tarrah, Lexine, that boy with the mullet-like hairdo (can't remember his name), among a few others, all of whom were gone by Season 30, with the exception of Tarrah, who remained for maybe another...
YouTube has really given people a handicap right now with their new design, and I'm tankin' here because of it... so, forgive me, whilst I shamelessly plug the first in hopefully three (though, there might only be two, I don't know) new Christmas entries this year:
Then, of course, there's...
I don't know about Jerry Juhl not getting enough love... maybe as far as the general public goes, but in the Muppet fandom, he's certainly very celebrated, because you have to admit, his feat is impressive, nearly writing or co-writing almost every Muppet/Henson production from his induction...
As far as Mr. Handford goes, honestly, I don't believe he must have left that much of an impression on me as a kid, because to be perfectly honest, when Alan was introduced, I don't remember ever questioning why, I just accepted it, I thought he was a great addition to the human cast, he quickly...
