a plume is a bunch of feathers tied or glued together.

there was a test head, spent a lot of time watching the character, looking at pics, wanted to really make him wembley, not just a replica. Oh, the feathers are a little bit of tied and glued, also some hand made plumes to get the hair shaped right.

Thank you. I had to search for a bit for that wembleyish material to make his shirt. And his mouth is very flexible, he is able to make all those wembley faces we love.

you have the right idea. One thing that i would do is slow down on your cutting of the felt pieces, tongue ect. Draw it out first on paper, then transfer. DO long smooth cuts, get some really good cutting scissors. Its small things like that, that will give your puppets a proffesional look. Also...

i totally agree. whats funny some people talk out both sides of their mouths. Muppet replica "bad , you can't sell that" Then on another thread they speak of building a trail fraggle for ebay. Just because its not a lead chracter, it is still fraggle like. remember the comment on copyright...

i thought puppetise was a 15 year old girl, my bad. Anyway all this is petty. i don't see post on all the illegal muppet tshirt stuff on ebay. these people take images of puppets that aren't even built by them and print tshirts. muppets make big money on merchandise, very little on puppet sales...
