Here's a list of what Muppet Stuff is on over christmas :
The Muppets' Wizard of Oz
Time - 14:15 to 16:00 (1 hour and 45 minutes long).
When - Sunday 18th December on five
No info on if this will be shown in widescreen.
TOTP 2
Time - 20:00 to 21:00 (1 hour long).
When - Sunday 18th...
No Muppet characters were in the movie - that I can remember, there may be references perhaps. Oddly enough David Bowie is in it too, I wonder if John Landis came on the set of "Labyrinth".
Simon O' Brien character's name was "BJ", with that kind of name I presume Brien plays PK's younger brother - I guess
Here's pic of Simon with Sprocket that I scaned a while back - enjoy

hope it helps :)
Thanks anathema for the info, after you description on the packaging I'm still tempted to buy the R1 DVD set. Are the shows have original ATV endings (credits on the left on the screen than centre credits) on this UK set?
I knew it :( . So it's even more likely the German version will be cut. So what's the quality like? Is it a PAL to NTSC to PAL conversion? and does it have original opening titles?
It's definately widescreen, if you look closely on the spine of the DVD (on the second picture) it has the widscreen logo and it has that on most of the recent Disney/BVHE DVDs
