Yeah, I've been watching it when I can remember it's on. It's been rather enjoyable, but nothing revolutionary. I really like Tony Shaloub, and I think it's great he's leading his own series.
Personally--and I could be completely wrong--I still think Bin Laden was trumped up as the villain in order to give the public someone to focus on. I don't doubt he was involved, but I do doubt that he was the monster at the head of the whole attack and that his death/capture would end any...
I got the special edition DVD as soon as it hit the shelves. In fact, probably before it since I believe it was pre-ordered.
I for one am a pretty decent sized Kurt Russell fan. I think he makes a great anti-hero. He is on my list of "greatest anti-heros of all time" twice with Snake...
Interesting Daily Bit today showing Micronaut production. Question: Why the age grade disclaimer of "Serious Collectors Only 18 and Up" on that last figure? Is that a joke or is it really serious? What is it about this toy that makes it "not a toy"?
In regards to the Tick, unless it had become a runaway super blockbuster hit, there was almost no way it would ever have continued past the few measly airing that it got.
For one thing, the episodes were taped and in the can for well over a year before FOX aired any of them. Do you think...
That reminds me of a bunch of other stuff that used to be available in the early days of VHS that are almost completely forgotten, like all those Nelvana cartoons like "Rock & Rule," "The Devil and Daniel Mouse," and "Romie-0 and Julie-8" As well as others like "The Last Unicorn" and "Dot and...
Gadzooks, I vaguely remember seeing "Starchaser..." in the theaters. Guess what? It was in 3-D! I also remember being slightly disturbed by it since it wasn't exactly a kid-friendly cartoon. Lots of violence and lots of scantily-clad form-fitting females.
Now how do we go about getting the cartoon on DVD? I loved that much more than the TV show. Lots of Alf, no Tanners, aliens eating cats. It's a wonder it's not already available!

I was never able to get into the 2nd TMNT movie due to Vanilla Ice and the dumbing down of the violence and all the half-beat poses at the camera whenever anyone cracks a joke so the audience has a cue of when to laugh. Urgh.
Army Of Darkness is my personal Evil Dead favorite. Partly...
That was probably due to some Big Brother monitoring equipment that watches all the correspondance going in and out of its networks. Who knows when the men in suits are going to show up and take away my computer.
At least one good thing about working for an aerospace company as an engineer...
I am reminded of when I used to work for a game company and the only way I'd ever find out what the heck our company was doing was by checking IGN and other game websites. "Oh, we're developing a new action shooter? I had no idea."
It's sad when some unrelated Internet site knows more about...
Wow, what a great post and some awesome updates on the figures.
1. Electric Mayhem neon will be opaque, not semi-clear.
I think a lot of people will be happy about that. Comparing the recent pic with an earlier prototype: will the drums be yellow or orange?
2. Wild hair version of...
Nor was I surprised. I pretty much had it figured out before it arrived based on some logical assumptions. However, as I said before, it's not much of a surprise anymore since pretty much all the packages have been shipped out, yet there still may be a few waiting who don't want to ruin it...
