The job market is very difficult right now, it's true. And it's also true that a lot more people have Bachelors than ever before. But it's still highly valued, it can mean the difference between getting a job, or not. It's possible to do well without being a college graduate, but you're more...
Europe does have the reputation of not being particularly religious, though of course there are always exceptions.
Well, it is true that we have minds and consciousness, and they are very important. But our own science, as useful as it is, can't explain WHY we have them, why we need to exist...
Excellent! Hehe
I've seen the whole movie, it's one of those classic '80s comedies. The plot's a little silly, but Dan Ackroyd and Eddie Murphy are both really funny, as are the two old guys.
Hehe, that's funny, Kiki. Nah, it's a compliment. :)
One time I was happy about something and chose to celebrate by going "Yay!" like Kermit does and waving my arms around (actually I used to do that a lot as a kid lol). My Father said, "Uh, you are not a Muppet!" Lol
Hehehe! I love double quoting!
I remember the first time I saw his photo on the main tribute page. Actually what clicked with me was "I could see this guy playing Junior Gorg." But yeah the tweed cap photo did it for me too as far as Scooter.
My friend recently saw Richard in Trading Places...
Well I suppose the Fraggles were too scared to enter through there too often. Though yeah it might have been used more if the series had continued, when the Fraggles weren't so afraid of the Gorgs. I guess that's for Fraggle Rock 2: The Continuing Journeys. LOl
I do agree it's unfortunate. It's a fact in the business world that sometimes companies need to take on sponsors no matter how controversial they are. At least SS does make the effort to preach healthy eating on their own show. And McDonald's isn't bad as a sometime thing, as long as it's not...
Cool! I was suprised to recently find The Bells of Fraggle Rock at my local video rental store. Classic story; A deep message and typical Muppet humor. ("Should have brought your mittens!")
Yeah I first saw old Snuffy on Muppet Wiki, and I nearly jumped out of my chair! He looked like a really big bug! Lol.
Then again, it sort of goes along with that song Snuffy sang in Sesame Street Live years ago, the one they always play on MC radio. I don't remember the exact lyrics but...
Lol, that's great, MN. Good for you and your Mom, lol. Man, I can't believe Easter is coming so quickly!
The other day, I was showing a friend one of the Of Muppets and Men photos I copied. The one of Jerry and Richard in the recording booth. She said she could tell who Jerry played by looking...
I've actually always loved that style of head gear. I just happened to receive one like it for a birthday last year, I was very pleased!
Yeah I've also thought of finding his hat somewhere, lol.
Hmm yeah good point. I guess they might have wanted some humor in the episode since it's a rather sad one overall. Plus, ugh this sounds terrible, Gobo probably figured The World's Oldest knew a lot about death.
However, in retrospect the Trashheap would probably have been the better choice...
