I really wish I had really learned to play, because I love watching it in person. Unfortunately, when I tried joining a team, I was given a hard time because no one bothered to train me, lol.
Yeah when I was a kid, everyone was frustrated that I didn't like to read. Well, I didn't like to read stories about fictional penguins etc. But I ran straight to books about how a movie was made and memorized them!
Not that I'm entirely proud of that. I do wish I'd read more. It helps with...
Yeah, clearly very skillful in various hand-related objectives, hehe.
I'm not very athletic, but surprisingly good at shooting baskets. But yeah, I use both hands. :halo:
Well, your group does sound pretty impressive, despite the inevitable clashes. Heh, I can see professors liking the warts and all stuff. It's good to be honest in journalism. :)
Ugh, I can understand the frustration MN!
I still say it's a bit of both. Reporters occasionally mess with the facts, which is of course upsetting. Then again subjects often misremember things, but still stick to their stories for years.
Very true, you can't trust everything you read. Although, writers also point out that interview subjects obviously won't always remember details accurately. And it's difficult to try and correct them. Reporters and writers are in a difficult profession. As I've once heard, part of their job is...
Yeah that was definitely my initial thought as well, how writers take liberties sometimes. He might have made a Basketball reference and the writer decided to run with it. Lol
Interesting! It was nice to see the picture all sharp and cleaned up (though I am partial to the old school look). I'm not sure why it was a capital S but...Anyway thanks for posting!
I don't know for sure, but it might have been on Sesame Street. Since in the picture of this on Muppet Wiki, you can see "25 25" in the background which sounds like a parody name of the "20 20" show.
Yeah it is a classic Richard-ism! Hehe.
Oddly though, it reminds me of that quote from the Muppet Fanclub Newsletter, "Richard, whose arm had never before hoisted anything more exotic than a basketball, found himself puppeteering, finally working up to a Muppets special on "The Ed Sullivan...
Oh yeah, I remember you talking about your Kitty, Skye. They are very important to us. That's great that you got closer to her towards the end. I hope we can all learn to appreciate things while we have them. :)
Well, to bring the mood up a bit, I found this quote someone on the web said came...
Right, he says seeing something so amazing as a Fraggle made him realize what was important in life. He had to support his friend. And in the end, he was rewarded for it of course, and got to stay with the Fraggles too.
You're both very right. It's becoming more and more obvious to me lately. A couple Summers ago, my dog past away. We knew it was coming, we had her for many years. The day she past, I was the only one in the house. I could see she wasn't doing well and I stayed with her for awhile. But I spent a...
Even though this is a terribly stereotypical quiz, I accept the challenge! Hehe
60% Female and 40% Male, wow!
*What exactly is the implication with that book question? That girls prefer to read fiction? Real nice! :p (Just joking)
He said "It sets me all a-quiver!" Lol That's funny about your Grandma's reaction!
Dictionary.com says sensual means, "arousing or exciting the senses or appetites." So it can be about soft sexuality, but it can also be about other things that make you passionate. Like eating food can also be...
Thank you too, Ilikemuppets, I reallly appreciate the thoughts. :)
It doesn't pay to get depressed, it won't change anything. Like I said, it's best to be optimistic. It definitely makes you rethink your priorities. And be grateful for the people around you. You have to learn to stop obsessing...
