what i like about pepe is that he's a fairly new character (well not so new anymore), and he became one of the muppet stars without overshadowing Kermit, Fozzie, Piggy, Gonzo, Animal, etc.

i liked the one in the late 80s, early 90s timeline, with animation, in the background, but at times had live action clips of the cast dancing in the animated background. I think there was a Jim Henson statue of liberty too.
