I've said this before, but notice how anytime today's kids see ANY cartoon that was in existence before the 2000s that features a male humanoid character and a talking dog (or any two random buddy characters), they're like, "Oh, so THAT'S where ADVENTURE TIME came from!" Wallace and Gromit...
Well, even Weird Al has said before that at the times where his songs and videos are at their edgiest, he makes sure they're not to the point that they're inappropriate, because he's aware that kids make up a number of a fanbase as well; but I digress.
I've really been curious about this, mainly because I've heard the stories about certain actors and performers (certainly not big-name, A-listers who can live off their wealth inbetween projects) who have to work menial jobs throughout the year because of the no work/no pay downtime/hiatus...
My only problem with kids entertainment today is that there's really nothing out there that doesn't insult their intelligence. Admittedly, yes, cartoons back in the 90s were pretty great and unique, but they didn't talk down to kids... in fact, a LOT of those cartoons were FULL of parental...

Now I'm bummed out... I was all uber-excited about the possibility of a Muppet Museum... oh well.
But on that subject, why can't we have an all-Muppet Museum? Or a Henson Museum in general? Walt Disney has a museum, Charles Schulz has a museum, why can't Jim have one?
Doesn't it seem like people named Frank tend to be arrogant jerks, or people Ed or Clyde tend to be idiots? :p But I think if I ever had a daughter (not that I want one) I'd name her Mary... either that or Gracie, I can't decide.
And galagr, I've only known one Eric, and no, he ain't a jerk at...
