Well, back in the day, Ross and Janice wrote practically everything themselves: the shows, the songs, the music, everything... unless it was Fox's doing, I don't know why they turned that department over to other people.
Then again, Janice supposedly wrote a draft for the Squeakquel, they...
Well, even Marty Krofft has said back then, the interference factor from networks was miniscule compared to interference today.
And it's true. At least back then, the production company, or studio, or creator, or whoever got to actually own what they create; now, networks demand ownership to...
Here are just a few specific observations I can point out:
- At times, Arthur's glasses seem to shift position, particular when he's facing the camera directly, they almost look too high on his face. I've also noticed his faces seems to be a little longer as well (similar to Marc Brown's...
I just want season sets, I don't care about song replacements at this point; yes, the editing is usually sloppy, and they pick the worst possible versions they have of songs to replace, but anything is better than iffy-quality episodes recorded off CN and uploaded, downloaded, reuploaded...
It's not so much the writers' fault these days, networks want COMPLETE control over shows in this day and age, and they really crank Executive Meddling up to 11 today; networks think they know what they want, but in the process, they're the reason for a show's demise because their demands go...
That reminds me, the studio never did release the last two seasons of T*K*O; in fact, last I heard, they decided they weren't going to release Seasons Three or Four, and instead, just put out a complete series set with a buttload of features Seasons One and Two DIDN'T include, for a grand total...
Wow, this has got to be the worst release yet:
http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Alvin-Chipmunks-Driving-Dave-Crazier/18710
Four episodes, three of which have already been previously released, and on top of that, the cover art is in such low resolution and quality, it's hard to get the effect...
I don't even remember my account info. :o
I got a skype account when I got my new computer last year, but never got a chance to use it, and now I can't even remember what my username or password is. :smirk:
I think I just killed this thread.
But seriously, even though I really don't want to, I'm thinking about getting rid of my Y!M since apparently, nobody IMs anymore - I've got one contact I IM on a weekly basis (for the most part), another on a random, occasional basis, then I've got a number...
Oh lord, don't even remind me; I had one of those as well, that thing required a LOT of commitment! I mean seriously, after a while, my Pocket Pikachu did NOTHING but turn its back on me because apparently I "neglected" it.
The problem is, like somebody previously said, to list off any (or all) reality show is "too easy" for this thread; Drtooth is the one who always says no sane, self-respecting person willingly watches any of these kind of trashy reality shows... and if they do, they do so out of irony.
I agree...
SUMMER RENTAL.
I mean, it's got John Candy in it, not to mention Rip Torn Who Thinks He's An Actual Pirate... yet, it just doesn't do anything for me... probably because I first saw it during a dark period, so yeah...
