This reminds me of a time in Grade 4 when we had a spelling test, and I was certain I aced it, no problems whatsoever (spelling was one of my best subjects after all); we got our tests back, and I saw I had a 98, for missing one word. I couldn't see it until it was pointed out:
Instead of...
I never did use any of the default wallpapers the machines had to offer, I always used my own... but yes, XP was a really great operating system at the time.
And I agree, Dell is not my prefered brand; I'm an HP guy.
I like how EVERY SINGLE FROGGIN TIME we have a thread like this, inevitably, somebody has to throw MFS bashing into the discussion when we weren't even discussing MFS in the first place.
I'm avoiding 8 at all costs... it was made mainly with tablets in mind, so it's only natural that there's a number of problems with it on computers, it's pretty much like Vista all over again (remember how bad Vista was?)
I'm using 7 right now, and I love it. I used to think XP was the bomb...
You know what I hate the most about the new Photobucket? You can't even link just directly to the image itself anymore, you're ALWAYS automatically redirected to the image page in the library (now actually known as a "bucket", go figure) the image is in.
It seems like to me if Photobucket is...
Texting and driving ads have gotten REALLY graphic lately.
Well, okay, not "really graphic", but they are quite heavy anymore, like the one where a teen is driving down a residential street, suddenly gets a text on his/her phone, we see in the teen's eyes and facial expressions the debate over...
I'm still mad at how quickly CN's been cranking out these shows on DVD when it took forever to even get any season sets of any of their older shows... and even now, they've left us hanging with just one season each of Dexter, Johnny B., Courage, and two seasons of EEE.
On the subject of Canadian cartoons, while at a family reunion yesterday, the little kids were watching GROJBAND on Cartoon Network... that may actually be the first decent cartoon seen on cable TV since the death of CN as we knew it back in 2004.
Coincidentally heard the Jim Croce original of "Leroy Brown" on the radio today... and now, anytime I hear that song, all I can think of is a certain someone going crazy over a poor performance of that song on Lawrence Welk.
Betty Lou has yarn hair, and has a relatively small presence on the show overall.
Prairie Dawn has human-like hair, and has a larger presence on the show.
And so, Tennessee loses another one of its volunteers. :p
Never been to Pensacola, but I have been to the neighboring Destin, and it's a marvelous little town, so I'm hoping and imagining that Pensacola is just as nice.
Why.... why, why, why, why, why, WHY in the name of all that is holy does Kris "Biggest Creeper Mom in the World" Jenner need her own daytime talkshow?! :scary:
