HIT Entertainment will support the much-anticipated DVD release of Fraggle Rock Complete First Season with an online campaign targeting the generation of men and women who grew up with the show.
This is from July 3rd. Should we have seen this by now?
Sounds very cool...
Both Season One and the new single-disc are now at HIT's online store. Oddly enough, they don't list the bonus CD-ROM for S1:

On a side note, all this talk about TMS's Amazon ranking has drawn some attention to FR (maybe). As of now it's at...
"The Trial of Cotterpin Doozer" and "Red's Club" are both fantastic episodes. This DVD is definately worth picking up.

From what I've heard, the original deal between Jim Henson and HBO called for five seasons of the show. There were, however, only four production seasons so they split the last year in half (13 for season four, 13 for season five).
When (and if) we get to those seasons on DVD, HIT will most...

Another petition honestly will not make much difference. HIT is well aware of the demand now, and all they are waiting for is us, the fans, to uphold our end of the bargain and buy the box sets they put out.
As has been said previously, buying Season One is what will ensure Season Two. The...

Did anyone else find that the audio on the bonus episode "Great Radish Caper" seemed to be off just a bit? It was really noticeble during the opening theme (especially the last second or two: the final "Down at Fraggle Rock," along with Boober's solo "D@FR" seemed completely off).
I remember...
This is wonderful news!
I guess all that letter writing and phone calls have done the trick. I think it would be very nice for all of us, upon purchasing our sets this fall, to call or write to HIT again just to thank them for listening to us, the fans. I know the folks at HIT would...

Hi Gelfling,
Thank you for the quick reply to my earlier question.
I hadn't heard anything about this, but maybe you have: I know there is much discussion about these potential season sets, but has there been any talk of a possible Fraggle CD(s) in the works?
I'm hoping that HIT takes...

Thanks for the news, Gelfling...I hope they continue to release the single disks, since parents and casual fans probably won't put up the $$ for whole seasons.
I do wish they would hurry up with announcing the box sets for those that will buy them. Are you still in contact with HIT, working...
Just to sort of follow up on the previous story, this article was posted on Animation World Network. While it doesn't have much to do with FR first hand, it does gives you an idea as to the "inner workings" of a company like HIT, and also might give a little insight into where HIT is coming...
