Weird Lego Video Narrated by Kermit

Admittedly, the video DOES have a bit of Muppet edge to it... "Everybody loved and respected one another" *People get run over by speeding vehicles*

"The Great Santa Claus Switch" should be on DVD

Looks like they've been taken down. :sigh:

Weird Lego Video Narrated by Kermit

I found this by accident on YT tonight: And obviously, it's not really Kermit, just some kid doing an impersonation of him. I give the guy A for effort, though otherwise, his impression sounds a little exaggerated.

In Need of New Email Service

I've already done that the other day, and they've given me like a hundred different probabilities as to what could be causing the problem, the most probable of which is probably difficulties with an add-on, so the next time it's down, I'm going to disable the add-ons to see if any of them could...

What is your least favorite Muppet Movie?

LTS is NOT a movie, it's a SPECIAL.

In Need of New Email Service

Seems like most forums in general had issues with AOL emails... I remember a few members who had registered at my old KGZ forum years ago telling me they had never gotten their confirmation emails with their passwords, and it turned out, the forum server wasn't able to send said confirmation...

AOL... still exists? I thought AOL went out with the 2000s. :p

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

TV's ALWAYS gone through trends like that, when one new show comes out with a unique premise that manages to be successful, all the other networks scramble to copy it to try and capitalize on its success and bring in viewers for their own shows. The 60s brought us the likes of THE ADDAMS FAMILY...

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

So I see James Caan is doing TV work now, which, once again, brings to mind how there was once upon a time when movie stars were considered "too big", "too important", and "too expensive" to even remotely think about doing TV work. Admittedly, his upcoming show DOES look interesting, and looks...

    Questions about anything

At the store the other day, I saw boxes of Scooby Doo cereal with "NEW!" plastered on the front of the boxes, which begs the question, why exactly do they need "NEW!' on the boxes? Scooby Doo's had his own cereal before, nothing new about that. And THAT also begs the question, just how many...

    Hate Jessie

You can have a poorly edited laugh track on both ends of the spectrum. On the one hand, the laugh track can be overused to the point where EVERYTHING is met with a laugh, not just a funny line, but even a head tilt, or a smirk, will be met with a laugh; then sometimes the laugh track can be...

The “What did you do today?” thread

I'm in the process of working on a commission for someone on deviantART... but as of now, I found out that the same guy has made the exact same request from like umpteen different artists, so I really don't know what the point is to me doing this now. :smirk:

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Ohhh, we have a BEAUTY this time! As of right now, YT's got a link to a feedback survey on its homepage for people to fill out... now, I KNOW they're not even going to look at any of these surveys taken, but I filled one out anyway just to see what kind of questions there were and how they...

    Peppermint... STINKIN...Park. Terrible Kid's show

Well, consider this was a direct-to-video series from the 1980s, and even then, they didn't sell very well, so YT's probably your only best bet to even find any footage from this series at all.

    Hate Jessie

There's an art to creating a good, believable laugh track, and they rarely, if ever, achieve that on kid shows - they figure kids aren't as astute viewers as adults are and therefore don't pay attention to certain pre-recorded laughs being played over and over again in the same half-hour.

    What's in a Name?

I know exactly what you mean, Daniel. Personally, I never was big on nicknames that were simply abbreviations of my name; I'll accept actual nicknames, such as "Jadar" which Kathy gave me, or for a while when I interned at PBS I earned the nickname "Puppet Master', but other than that, I...

    The future of Sesame Street

I don't remember ever thinking the 35th anniversary special was lackluster... I don't remember there were ever negative reactions to the 35th anniversary special honestly... But yeah, Season 40 didn't have a special, but then again, Season 30 didn't really have a special - ELMOPALOOZA was...

    TV Tropes

Why does THE BIG BANG THEORY have individual trope pages for each individual season of the show? Why does THE BIG BANG THEORY NEED individual trope pages for each individual season of the show?

The "Have You Ever Wondered..." Thread

Have you ever wondered if different animals can understand each other when they communicate (like can a dog understand a cat's meowing while it understands the dog's barking), or do you think each different species' form of communication is like different languages among humans?

    Happy Birthday Beakie!

It WAS 100-year-brandy, but somebody switched the bottle at the last second.
