Ya know, I like Robin Williams, and I like Michael J. Fox, but I'm seriously not even going to bother with either of their new shows; I've been trying for a number of years now to give new shows a chance when they supposedly seem to be "different", only to see they're the same old-same old kind...
I do agree some of the puppets look like they still need little touch ups here and there, but at the same time, I actually like how some of them show some obvious age: those closeups of Ernie and Bert show a little bit of dust that's settled in their hair (as well as Bert's eyebrow)... somehow...
Okay, seriously, Google has forced a Google+ account onto my hobby channel three times this week, and each time, I've had to delete it altogether.
Once again, they're basically trying to getme to switch to my real name on my hobby channel, but I'm not going to do it.
You know, sometimes I honestly get the feeling that YT is constantly just looking for passive aggressive ways to let me know that my (official) channel sucks.
Here's another one that doesn't seem to be quite as effective:
They reiterated Well Done Son Guy to "Well Done, Son!" Guy, which somehow, to me, doesn't really work as well; based on what the trope itself covers, Well Done Son Guy sounds just like that: a father who doesn't really give a hoot...
I know I brought this up in the past regarding Freds, but it just occurred to me that there seems to be a lot of Pauls in entertainment as well... off the top of my head, I can think of...
Paul Lynde (actor/comedian)
Paul Newman (actor)
Paul Frees (voice actor)
Paul Schoeffler (voice...
Drtooth can attest to some of the weird fetishes out there on the internet, especially deviantART, but while on YouTube this morning, I've unfortunately discovered yet another strange one: nose blowing.
There's seriously a fetish for nose blowing?
Wow, the original Green Grover's come down with a cause of jaundice.
But man, if there was ever a time I really wanted to visit the Smithsonian, now's the time!
Ken Levine posted something interesting on his blog last week about how one thing that bothers him about the Emmy's anymore is that there are THOUSANDS of winners, because so many people who have pretty much to do with the actual production of a show demand some kind of producing or consulting...
Gecko's been in a ton of commercials lately: one has him doing a voice-over advertisement, but the mixer comments his accent makes it sound like he's saying, "Dulles" instead of, "Dollars"; another one has a guy (who sounds a lot like Rob Paulsen) show him an animation (2D) of himself, much to...
I kind of see where the others are coming from though...
We just spent a great deal of time in the other thread trying to get it through to some of these people that postings meaningly replies like, "Lol", "That's funny", "Yeah", "Me too", "I like that", "Cool", "Awesome", etc. is frowned...
It could be a little of both: we all were remarking about how using the Like feature should eliminate the one or two word replies like, "Yeah", "Me too", "Same here", etc. But at the same time, again, as I mentioned in the other thread, one said member has actually confessed the reason he/she...
*Places hand on Casey's shoulder* Hey man, my generation was no different... though I give you kudos for going through dressing up as Gonzo, I honestly wouldn't have the guts to do something like that publically, it'd be a one-way ticket to Wedgie City, followed by a short trip to Swirlytown...
I tried doing some more research regarding this issue with tags and keywords (because it looks like I'm not the only one this is happening to), now I don't know if any of this is true or not, but there's a conspiracy theory going around that YT sets "priorities" for certain channels, and in...
